That's horrible. Damage seems pretty good but it is a real challenge to stay alive.
Look into vaal molten shell, with a rumi's it can replace bone armor entirely and free those 2 points to get more resist and damage.

I'm running 6L skellies, 4L zombies atm, good up to T10 with lvl19 gems. Has anyone run minions in T16 maps so far? If so what build are you using?
So, guys

I'm not specialist, the truth is i'm a very lazy and bad player, but after this nerf i've become nervous about the oneshot deaths i've tooked, also for loosing minions on fight.

After a week of frustration, i said to my self if no one discover something, i must protect my invest here, in museum league. So, i did some changes:
1. I play the version with Doryani ES. First thing was to loose Unnatural calm (3p) and to increase the res/life/armour on another points of tree. so instead to have 3000 ES, now i have around 2000, because of SO nerf also Bone barrier nerf. My shield was 95% down on fight, this means those buffs before 3.10 are obsolete now.
2. Took an unset ring, moved Desecrate on it.
3. Removed FF from the Raise spectre. Not really a loose, you know.
4. Removed Bone barrier, no benefits from it now.
5. Added Commander of Darkness, at least to buff the minion damage.
6. Added Vaal Molthen Shell + CWDT. Lvl 13 + 6, this was a setup for my champion, seems to be still available.
7. Very tricky thing!!! I've tooked also Indomitable Army, for minion protection, also using Ravenous Horde as enchant on amulet.
8. I have not capped Chaos Res so i use an amethist flask + Soul of Shakari + Soul of Arakali on Pantheon.
9. Added a jew with Corrupted Blood cannot inflict on you. This was a plus.

So, my pseudo/balanced build now is like this: https://pastebin.com/r1W0qDrq.

Using 12 skel(beying on museum leagur i still have +1 one chest), 11 zombies, 2 carrions, 4 specters (2 host + 2 carnage) and the AG.
My highest invest was in AG, i maintain it on lvl 30 with an Empower lvl, just because i don't have wand with +1 +1. The gear i'm using is the highest end game on it. (Before the changes i've made, there was situations i've finished a fight on juicy maps t16, wil all my minions dead, but not the AG. Funny, eh?)

So now, my skel sit on 1.346 mil including Impale. On the first case was bellow 1.2 mil, before the 3.10 was 1.8 mil. I'm happy with that.

From yesterday, i,ve tested my character in all content i was able to generate here and i'm truly satisfied now. I only died once, because of my stupidity. For the moment i've found the solution that works for me here on standard. I don't know if on Delirium will work. Hope so.

Feeding frenzy needs to be *somewhere* so you get the separate buff that gives 10% to all minions, its not for spectre dmg at all

My mistake on the explanation. This FF was the 2th. First is liked with carrion golem. This was my way to understand this build before.

Still running this build and it is doing pretty well (T11 now). I have a couple questions:

- I just read a few posts and I see people are still using feeding frenzy. Why?

- This one may be a skill setup changers:
Cluster gem attribute Rotten Claws : Minions have a 20% chance to Impale on Hit with Attacks
Can it replace Impale support on the skeleton link?
What about the synergy with Dread Banner and Generosity?
I may not be getting something here, but I am socket starved and if I could get 2 more sockets by removing something useless...


Moreover, one comment here: That league is a nightmare for what looks like one-shot deaths but they are in fact multiple shots in a very little amount of time. I am now at 75 deaths 95% of them occurred in the Delirium fog. There is nothing a player can do when he gets 5-6 3000 life hits in 1/10 of a second. There is nothing a player can do when the mob you just killed has an after death effect of multiple hits in 1/10 of a second. I thought the patch 3.10.0D would have resolved some of it but it did not. I got killed on T1 Beach (Mods Twinned and 20% less recovery) instantly this morning.

1: feeding frenzy gives your necro a buff that gives 10% to all minions, you put it in an off slot unless you want aggressive which only applies when directly linked (good for legion but experiment with convocation if you are struggling too, ff for aggro is a waste of a lot of dps)

2: as I understand we take impale for the "enemies impaled by supported skill take 30% phys dmg reduction when impaled, as well as increase impale effect. The cluster will scale this decently I think though.

Dread banner is more impale, generosity is more of that. If you stack so much chance to impale you are overcapping it somehow, then sure, I don't think the 19% increased impale effect would be worth both gems by itself. Impale is really good vs bosses.... use community pob if you aren't to get the numbers.

3:vaal molten shell all the way. Use an unset ring for an extra socket. Ditch bone armor since molten shell + rumi's is better and share cd so bone is useless now, letting you get some more resists in ascendancy to make the ring/rings easier.


just looked at your delirium character, what are you going for?? Elemental focus and spell echo on spectres- minion speed and culling strike on carrion? Minion and melee damage supports on zombies? 6 freed sockets for you easy. Are you following the leash of oblation build in the comments here? I assumed so since you knew about impale etc, but you aren't using any offerings... I get what you are trying to do with skitterbots/phase run/flesh and stone/proxy but thats another 4 sockets and a ring to pull it off for meh gains, compare it to dropping brutality for ruthless (almost even) which will let you get the chaos damage off spirit offering, attack speed off flesh offering, defenses from bone and spirit offerings (missing free 30-60 resistances here!)

A trick for later after you work up 75-100 c, medium thread of hope in the top jewel socket will let you get ravenous and the life to the left, freeing up your anointment for death attunement saving on some pathing there. Or spam To Dust a few times in your tree for massive gains.

Are you SFF? Not sure how to tell.

Do not try to interpret my Delirium build as of now. I am experimenting to see how it affecte my DPS and survivability. If you want to see where I am going, check MetaDeliocourt. I went full life, half and half, then ES/CI (current version). Right now, with all the mixed gems, I maim, cull, I use 3 Slave drivers (I tried Flame Sentinel before for the heck of it). My AG gem is not ready yet. I plan by tomorrow to probably put back FF somewhere.

I was asking about the new cluster gem passive because I plan to introduce a cluster or two if the skeletons DMG is so-so. As of now, it is great! I am really surprised. I would have thought the nerf would have felt worse (And I am not even running pride yet!!!).

One last thing: This league was the most unlucky, slow and frustrating league since Synthesis for me. It is not the build. It is just the drops and the Delirium mess really I think. I spent a lot of time (and deaths) to try to figure out if the issue was me or the broken mechanic. :) Since 2 days, I just do the Delerium encounter here and there and concentrate on leveling, getting some currency and doing my challenges.
