[3.9] Pure Phys Skeletons & Friends Necromancer — Beginner/SSF/Budget Build
Hi. Never played a Summoner, thinking of starting with this build in synthesis :).
what do you think about linking phantasm to zombies instead of meele Physical? since they can now raise from hits on unique enemys Edit: just saw 3.6 edit, haha. i'll definately try putting them on the zombies and let you know how it goes what links would you reccoment then? zombies, summon phantasm, brutality, minion damage? Hey. just got to maps, no problems so far :) what are your thoughts on going for whispers of doom for 4 points? :D seems kinda tempting for a 2nd curse on the ball lightning.
About the Phantasms: i think im going to remove them, they behave like the zombies so most of the time they arent doing much :P havent decided yet tough. also: whats the attack speed on gear for? does that scale the minions or is that just for shield charging around faster
Hey i want to know if i can have better mapping speed if i use soulwrest instead of minion damage weapon and victario? So the build is about Pure Phys Skele Zombie Phantasm.

hello
because of physical limitations i can only play builds which are considered lazy. i added desecrate/flesh offering/cwdt to the boots and moved some things around. the damage seems almost the same (119.5k instead of 123k according to PoB). the changed PoB link is this: https://pastebin.com/0BBqzjPQ can i play the build this way of am i missing something essential? thanks in advance
I'm having a ton of fun with this build! Currently level 89.
I was wondering how I can enchant +1 skeleton to my body armor? IGN: Marissa_Is_Hella_Hot

" Just do Betrayal events and then unveil items you get from syndicates. Soon or later you will unlock that enchant.

Hey, man thanks for the write up. I used your guide as a template for the first minion build I've played in my 2k hours playing PoE, and the build is a blast.
I changed some things around and am using Purifying Flame(substituted for Ball Lightning in your setup) and the new Bottled Faith flask (pricey addition but didn't need it to clear anything) for the consecrated ground action. It is so much more interactive to be mindful of your minion's health and spread the consecrated ground to top up minions that are low. Plus the extra crit chance is a nice small addition to DPS. https://youtu.be/x-jYNHVXLfg There is a quick Mino run to showcase. Shaper is an absolute breeze. Haven't tried uber elder yet, but I hear the degen makes the fight almost impossible for a build like this. Anyway, just wanted to stop by and let you know your guide was great for helping me try minions for the first time. Thanks a lot! PoB if anyone is interested: https://pastebin.com/Fv83ECui
Evening!
I too just wanted to thank you on this write up. Been playing on n off for years now and have always been a little intimidated with summoner builds. Decided to finally give it a go on a long dormant mid level witch that hasn't been used since the removal of cruel/Merc modes so she was sitting in act 4 @ LVL 55. Started with 2x 4 links and very low level gems and just went for Lab. Normal was fine but cruel really scared me, turned into a 5 min fight of running around trying to revive my army but experience got me through. Knew I shouldn't have been in there with the gems I had but still had me question the whole summoner thing... But now I saw the power, and fun factors start to come into play and decided to press on, haven't touched any of my other toons past 48hrs 😋 Tweaked it a bit to suit my overthinking mind, spent a few regrets/chromes/fusings playing around with ideas and even invested in a Queens Hunger to take it up a notch. Beginner friendly and good times to be had. Appreciate the time put into the guide, it's motivated me to try something new |
