Hi guys, this i think is the final build for me as i tested pretty much everything on those forums. I went for the animated guardian with kingmaker and the doryani jewel. I gave up MoM so i dont have to sacrifice 500 hp (because of essence worm) to keep pride. Also went to 50% chaos res. Impale, generosity and pride, casting vulnerability, swaping mutli for splash on mapping. 7500 life with 2k Es that goes up to 3.5k when spirit offering pop up from the cwdt setup. 1.49 million shaper dps per skellies.
Btw thanks for the whole AG kingmaker thing it's great! Shaper, uber elder and sirus 7 all down (that was before AG kingmaker lol). Gonna try Sirus 8 later on.
Let me know if you have other greats ideas to improve this! Next ill be leveling and finishing to buy awakened gems and also might buy a bone helmet with the 40% skellies damage though at this point increasing dps is starting to be overkill!

Asides from awakening gems which you mentioned, the only other big improvement I could suggest is a +2 duration gems body armor, which would boost skeletons.

https://pastebin.com/ErEUTAHG This is my pob i'm at 1.4 now i've made some change. Removed some damage node for more life and also changed some piece of gear to cap my chaos res. Overall 7560 hp with 1979 es all res at over 100% and chaos at 85%.
I actually think i cant die anymore :)
This pob is with power charges too though at the moment i'm trying with two undying evangelist instead of the host chieftain so that would put me at 1.3 millions shaper dps. And iirc it's probably more due to the damage buff from AG and some damage bonus from pride not being accounted for.
Thanks for the great guide, however I am running into something really weird. My Skeleton's do Zero damage. I switched from a Spectre build to this one and with that build my skeletons were doing a ton a damage.
I thought maybe the game bugged out on me, so I restart my game, and still nothing.
I do have a Vaal gem at level 20 with +3 global modifiers, and the gem setup you suggested. I am lvl 87 myself and have most of the passive tree filled out per your guide. Still, even if I had a level 1 gem, they should still do damage I would think.
Any help would be great. I will continue to see if I can figure this out.

Triad Grip + Brutality is probably your problem. Triad Grip is converting your minion damage with 3 blue and 1 green socket to 75% lightning damage and 25% cold damage.
If you had Brutality socketed, that will force skeletons to do no elemental damage thereby giving them literally zero dps. Triad Grip is not recommended for this build. Hopefully that helps.

Would AG give these EnduCharges to all?
No, looking at the official Animated Guardian wiki page it specifically states that it does not count as a party member, and quotes not receiving the charges from Ambu's.
Well then I feel better about my chances upcoming against Awakener.

I ran that type of map with my league starter I died like 3 or 4 times. Had around the same amount of health at the time but no MoM of course so that helped. I was also kinda afraid that one of my Zombies or worse a Spectre would die but I never saw them go low. It also took like 2-3 minutes to kill the boss and 3-4 minutes to kill the Metamorph. Both only took around 30-40 seconds at most with the Skellies.
So on to Awakener after I finish both Warlord and Redeemer. I may buy new gloves that have some Chaos Res on them to get it up as high as I can before the fight.
