" Hey there, I'm not sure if this is what you're asking, but what I think you're asking is what the number on Timeless Jewels mean and if it matters. If that's not the case, I apologize and please feel free to follow up. If that is what you're asking, then the answer is that the number on the jewel is what determines what the small and notable passives on the tree become. Thankfully, the reason we use Timeless Jewels is only for the Keystone (Corrupted Soul) and not for the small or notable passives. What determines the Keystone is the name "Doryani". All Timeless Jewels that say "Doryani" on them will convert Keystones in their radius to Corrupted Soul and that's what we care about. TL;DR The number determines what the small nodes are, all we care about is the Keystone which Doryani gives. " OOF... I'll consider it but that's going to be a lot of production as I'd like to include all of the various changes people have brought to the table including the more defensive route you and others have gone as well as the more offensive route I've taken. I'd also like to update the video contents which I can do, but that also takes some time. I'm a graphic designer and a perfectionist so I'd probably take some time to spruce things up. It's something to consider, but I might be in touch with you and others in this thread that have been bringing ideas to get some opinions should I decide to go through with it. Hey all.
Had a thought around ascendancy - I've dropped spirit offering due to gem restraints on setup (use doryani's so still have a chunk of ES). Once this has been dropped is it instead perhaps worth taking Commander of Darkness rather than Mistress of Sacrifice? We loose some duration on skeletons and duration of flesh offering buff but gain increased aura benefits and an additional 30% damage, 3 attack and cast, and 20% all elemental res (reducing the burden to get this via items). From what I can tell the only real hit is to skele duration (which is kind of negligible due to the rate we need to re summon anyway) and loose movement speed due to flesh offering not affecting us anymore. What's everyone's thoughts on this? Think this could work well with dread banner and pride in essence worm? |

" I play full life no MOM, baron. But I took so many things from this build that I am closer to this build than a baron build I think. In the last week that I read the thread, I respected about 30% of my build. It does not empower the other minions. But with the so-so generation from the carnages spectres, the slave drivers are sure DPS. According to POB with the auras it is 120k dps per slave drivers (total 480k dps). And they hit multiple targets. For me, it is great clear speed and on the bosses they can be hit from a distance. I tried the Flame sentinels and they are great for mapping. I gain about 20% clear speed from the slave drivers but the bossing is so so. To go back to generosity, I am running it (Pride-Dread Banner-Generosity) since about 1 hour and half and I have the feeling I get more DPS. I will kep it that way for a while to see if it is not just a novelty feeling. Thank you P.S.: I am running since yesterday animated guardian with kingmaker....WOW...Just WOW...I should have done that before. I put it in that setup: Zombie-Meat Shield-minion damage-animate guardian. My zombies are really there for just a little DPS and life regeneration. " It's certainly an option that would probably overall increase DPS. That said I'm entirely unsure I want to give up the movement speed granted by Flesh Offering. I mean in the end it's only like 40 regrets to try it out and switch back if I don't like it. I'll mess around with it today. | |
thanks Solanales ,. what would you recommend as a priority the doryani gem or animated guardian? and if it is the guardian the team must have sochets and gems or just the item? Thanks a lot

" The Doryani gem is a large boost to survivability and is a bit more approachable as it only costs the price of the gem and the passives to get there. The Animate Guardian is a luxury item for sure. He's something you should get into only when you have a level 20 animate guardian gem (leveled in a weapon swap for example) and are truly ready to pursue endgame goals. The Kingmaker itself is where the value in AG lies and that will always be expensive so I recommend holding off on going towards the AG until you're set up and have some currency to throw around. For the AG, their gear doesn't need sockets or gems. You can throw anything in there as far as that goes. All that matters are the stats on the gear. | |
Hey yall - i've been using this build since the league began, and trying to follow the changes i've seen suggested in the posts. From what I can gather, these are the most important changes:
1. Drop feeding frenzy in the 6link for impale support 2. Drop flesh offering for dread banner 3. Drop zombie's brutality support for Animate Guardian with decent items (kingmaker, belly, leer cast, etc) Is there anything i missed? |

" Make sure to run Generosity for Dread Banner, it helps a good bit. Some people like Essence Worm with Pride in it. Some people are running an Ahn's Heritage instead of a second wand. Some folks are putting a Doryani Jewel on the right side of Witch Start and allocating Corrupted Soul there. I think that about it? You hit the big ones. I'd say the above are the "optional path" kind of things for different styles (more defensive mostly) | |
