So is there a way to know how much HP my AG has?

Its 20/20, so 76% more HP, plus max rolled Belly of the beast, leer cast and southbound and the tree (i do have the grave intentions tree so 16% more minion life). Not sure how much I have but I dont think I pass the 20k HP on him, but I have no idea how the calculations are done, if the tree is first, or the skill gem is first and then after that all gear or what.

You can calculate it in PoB by making a second item set and setting your animate guardian skill to wear that.

Click that manage button in the item section. Create a new set there. Put the gear in that you have for the guardian, go over to you skills on the left, set it to animate guardian, change his items from "Default Item Set" to whatever you named the other item set, and you can see the life there then.
I've been thinking about using AG.

What would be the ideal setup?

I'm looking at upgrading some gear. Mostly a new ring right now but i'm wondering if I should count the resistance I get from Bone Barrier when getting new gear and just how much chaos res i should have.

Mostly asking because I am way over the res cap with Bone Barrier and minions up so I could possibly focus on just chaos res on a new ring.

It's fine to include Bone Barrier to help cap your res. I think most of us do. It's so rare that we'll be without our minions and if we are, we're in bigger trouble than some extra ele resist can handle.

Chaos resistance is big this league. My recommendation is be AT LEAST positive, but fit in as much as you comfortable can without sacrificing life or capping other resists. I have 55% and that feels pretty comfortable.

Awesome thanks. I figured it would be fine to include the bone barrier res but wanted to be sure haha. I'm currently at 5.5k life with 2.1k mana and Mom. My chaos res is -7% so I figured I have room to get some more and get a ring with the most I can find.
Anyone noticed that on the tool tips it says : "Minions have 30% elemental resistances"

But it doesn't come from no were actually ?

As I noticed the only moment they are res capped is when spirit offrering triggers.

It's the same in POB. If you check the minion square it shows you the resistances with spirit offering : 40% + 10+15+26 ( spirit offering).

Wonder were is the tool tip getting the +30% minion resistance .

Here's your options:

Weapon: Kingmaker or Dying Breath
Helmet: Leer Cast
Armor: Belly of the Beast
Gloves: Southbound or Meginords
Boots: Victario's Flight

With the above setup they're basically unkillable to begin with. If you want to invest more currency and insure that they REALLY never die here's another setup:

Weapon: Kingmaker
Helmet: Mask of the Stitched Demon
Armor: Increased Max Life chest with "10% of Maximum Life as Extra Maximum Energy Shield" crafted on
Gloves: Southbound
Boots: Victario's Flight

I explained the interaction of the chest piece and Mask of the Stitched Demon a few pages back, but basically it gives the Guardian around 100k HP and about 25k life regen per second.

It's from Raise Spectre, but it only applies to their res, not other minions.

Sure thing. AG is pretty cool. Definitely provides some good benefits. One thing to note is that sometimes he'll lag a bit behind when you're really moving fast and clearing. This can mean you don't have fortify so just be aware of it and get back to him when you find a particularly ouch worthy pack.

Hey guys, this is currently what im running with:

In terms of upgrades what would be the best? and should i be using culling strike on golems or dread/genorosity somewhere if so where?

Getting wands that are either +1 of all minion gems or +1 of all spell gems or both mods on same wand. That is huge dps boost.
Also switch brutality into ruthless and swap multistrike with melee splash for map clearing(multistrike is good for bosses)

If i had to choose between +1 minion or +1 spell on wands which is stronger? I have ex but i still need to invest in a bone helm and prob start adding in chaos resist gear.

Multistrike is only in there atm to lvl as my 2nd weapons are full.

Should i drop spirit offering/CwDT/Enfeeble for Pride/Dread/Genorosity?

And is there really any point in 21/20 raise spectre? when mapping i sit at 3/3 for both power and frenzy atm and i dont seem to get a dps increase in path of building if i put in a 21/20 gem
Probably a really silly question but why when I hover over "melee splash support" for sale from Nessa does it have an X next to Summon Skeletons in the active skills box
Both raise spectre and raise zombie both have ticks.
I would assume this would mean it does work with this skill?
