[3.9] Pure Phys Skeletons & Friends Necromancer — Beginner/SSF/Budget Build

im new to this build but im just not getting why arent we going like a 6 slot (2hand)weapon on this build with multiple gems for zombies(example) for maxing out dmg?
I think this is supposed to be a more low budget guide.

Running with 2 6 links isnt exactly what i would call that anymore.

You can look up a lot of builds at poe ninja too see a direction if you want to push it but be prepared to spend a lot of currency because summonors are meta again.

For example good crafted 2h too boost zombie damage go arounf 15 ex or more but you would basicly play a baron build with that which has nothing to do with the autors skele build.

To push pure skeleton damage you should focus on getting good wands and jewelry that boost the level of your skeletons if you feel that you lack damage.

The Carrion Golems seem extremely squishy or is it just me?

@OP, fantastic build. I've only previously run Enki's Arc Witch build but I'm having a blast with this.

it's you, mine never die, have you enchanted your neck properly?

QUESTION: why Blood Magic on Spectres?? I can't figure out WHY; would DPS gem be better??

Yep, no issue there.

Blood Magic affects the cost the spectre pays to use its own skill, letting the Chieftains use their skills more often.

Carrion Golems are the squishiest of the minions that follow us around. They die a lot on physical reflect maps but rarely die at any other point.

Blood Magic allows the Chieftan Spectres to spam their frenzy charges. Without it, they have to let their tiny mana pool refill.

That makes sense, as I'm pretty sure it's the phys reflect maps I'm seeing them die in but nowhere else. Cheers!

For those who have crappy gear (20c or less total spent on gear) how fast are you mapping with the build? How far are you able to get on the atlas before you slow down and or keep on dying (if you even die)?

I'd like to know how fast people are going as well. Thinking of making this but worried about it being a slow mapper with bad gear.

I cleared fairly fast with complete potato gear up to like T16s its when your on T16s your gonna wanna start to get some upgrades to make it quicker, Right now im flying trought T16 maps but im very geared aswell

Id be happy to show my current clearspeed to anyone thats intressted just message me ingame Affectless_BigFriends

Mind showing off your gear? just wanna compare it to mine. Im clearing T16s fine but havnt been able to get an awakener kill yet so im looking for things to upgrade :D
Is it worth using an Essence Worm in this build in one ring slot for a free aura like Pride for the skellies? Or is the rare minion speed on both rings more important?
