PvP problems no one cares about.

If theres anyone in here listening at all, fix volatile dead in pvp. If not doesn't matter. Anyway its lol poe pvp.

even EA doesn't compete to it now. the damage it does with proper pvp gear feels like no pvp thought was given into it during implementation.

VD will get a nerf 100% next patch, we will see what damage it will deal then when self casted but I also hope the nerf will also be for pvp. HOwever the real probable long lasting problem is not VD but Zerphi. Poet pen + zerphi combo is next level cancer.

how can poet's pen build get enough attack speed to make zerphi life gain viable though? i've seen that fran's build, his attack speed is really slow

In pob it is 5.63 attack rate. however he seems to have a mana cost of 700+mana for 9200 life total.

This is where I think the trick is, 9000+life with zerphi and this attack rate seems enough, at least against anything I seen he was facing ( there was no KB in sarn) (on top of that it say 600+ life regen)
On top of it all, with bodyswap you move all the time so byebye 90% of all the offscreen death.
Funny shit is Kb is not even in a essence crafted glove. Imagine with 16% more attack speed.

Volatile dead have an average damage on 75% fire res mob of 24000 (with bcr). So yea for so much investment in life VD + poet+derphi is broken.

Please no this game is so fucked some of the only fun I have now is playing kitava's thirst builds, the shitty item that requires ridiculous mana investment for a 30% proc chance and only operates as a four link in a world where 8link hats can now exist, with pretty much only negative stats on it and in lots of cases cannot be used by attack builds unless using 2 or more fevered minds :(.

Literally the only redeeming feature is that it is like the only remaining thing in the game where you can proactively (not cwdt/cws even if self damaging is a thing) trigger more than 1 spell in 1 action

I think it was proposed before but I hope zerphi chance could be like scold's which was successfully changed to do: only mana spent can be counted towards life gain (no more blood magic at least) and MoM would actually have a downside using this pot.

Did you hear about poet's pen?

Btw for PvP Kitava stats are all positive, reduced cast speed means more damage for triggered spells, and you can have attacks trigger for you, meaning you can go deep into reduced cast speed stacking without much disadvantage.

Giving Zerphi the Scold nerf wouldn't be enough, ppl did play successful mana based zerphi builds in the past, although it would put a soft cap on heal rate, it would be still one of the most broken things in pvp.

A new synergy that came up this patch is between Zerphi and Poet, because in a mana based build, you wouldn't have to perfectly balance mana usage to keep it not full and not empty, you can reach empty and still attack, proc spells, and stack as much mana recovery as you can, but ideally somewhat higher overall mana usage, just don't aim to get all attack speed from supports, so you dont get slower by using auto attack on 0 mana.

Its not even like the combination of poets zerphis into play yet, we're like talking about the main skill itself, used with sambars.

The seek range of it its just retarded, combo it with fireball. In pvp arena 1v1 there's completely no space. Its vd all the way. As soon as you run and peek it seeks you Allowing the caster to camp at spawn recasting it over and ove. thats one problem. The second problem its the speed it seeks you at. Its impossbile to out run it, maybe in sarn arena you can with qotf or some full speed flask and some movement ablities. And here comes the standard part with sambars. I have a 100fire> avoid talisman and its not even possbile to tank sambars vd with full block and dodge. one vol hits me for at least 80percent of my pool. i can get lucky and dodge/block 10 but i cant out run the next 30.

Atm theres no place for 1v1. Do something with AOE overlapping seriously. everyone is fireball/VD Or VD with poet's and zerphis or something fire. Overlaps everywhere glass 1 shot builds in sarn. I feel sorry for melee, even if i don't play it. I really do.

Having not touched EA zerphis was bad enough you know maybe some niche build was about to counter that. something i could live with. But introducing skills without any PvP balance in mind or any thought given is just ridiculous. I could tolerate 3.0. As soon as more skills come the worse things become. You can say its a PvE game yadahyadah, but end of day there's still pvp. And some minority of players here enjoys it. So Dev, im not even sure you're reading this or not. But you gotta do something. There are still people out there that enjoys ARPG PvP over Mobas.

At this point, dont worry about EA fix fireball/VD everything that does crazy amount of damage, fix overlaps. Fix everything you should done a long time ago.

oh shit I didn't realize poet's pen procced both hands when dual wield on a single attack lol. Who decided to put this in the game, its like ranged mjolnir with +3-4 gem level, no requirements dual wieldable and 33% less speed investment required..
