You can replace Thief's torment with a set of elder rings, but getting good ones is a huge pain in the ass. Getting crappy 4-affix rares and annulling them down to something usable can get pretty expensive. Technically, you could skip Life gain on hit, if you keep using that watcher's eye, but you'd be passing up a pretty big chunk of damage from the Anger version. Might be worth it with the right rings, but that's a question for PoB.

Getting the Bubonic Trail boots will probably boost your HP, but then you'd have to balance the resits, somehow. I don't know your exact stats, but I suspect you're in a spot where upgrading one item is gonna require swapping out half your gear. Getting the extra abyssal jewel sockets is great for damage, though.


One easy fix is swapping out your flasks. Dying Sun is a pretty big upgrade and you seem to have the currency for it. You don't need Blood of the Karui with your current Life Gain on Hit. Sacr0's flasks are good for bossing, but if you're not doing Guardians and above, I'd recommend a setup that's friendlier for overall mapping: a quicksilver flask with duration and extra speed, and a basalt/diamond combo that will take care of freeze and bleeding. Dying Sun and Atizri's take up the last two slots. Also, if you're using Coralito's Signature, you might want to spec out of that 10% poison node and put that into HP, instead, because that flask already gives you extra poison chance.

Your 3.1 build had 5million barrage dps in your POB for the outdated version, my barrage is doing 200k with all gems 21 100% accuracy, i know its outdated but still don't understand how my DPS can be so low when I swap all my gear to be the same as yours I cant even get close to 500k dps 5million seems unrealistic.

When I load my build on POB right after loading your build I get about 2.5 million DPS so I assume there are some config settings going on to raise up the DPS (to correct values????)


its from # of poisons applied recently in Configuration, recently is 4 sec, with his attack rate is 5.94 and barrage with 12 arrow doing around 276 stack in that 4 sec, and he set its 200 stack so that is number is his dps AFTER barrage for around 3 sec with wither max stack.
this build have big dmg but need big time setup (build stack poison) too, dont trust that dps in pob much, its change alot base on your stack of poison on enemy

Awesome, thanks, i'll give this a try, my flasks need some work (and quality/levels on gems)
Ive been trying to get the elder rings but that seems to be quite tricky/expensive.
Ive been looking in to Bubonic but that lose me a lot of resists and the Strength to use my helm so i'd need some sort of fix for that, not THAT rich anymore after buying all this :)
Find it a bit slow at times getting around purely on quicksilver (adrenaline) and blink, especially if get caught having to backtrack without charges. I have 25% boots, the 8% movement i think there is on the tree but not the flask duration/reduced charges nodes yet. Was considering rolling alchemist when i get them but not sure... Only bow builds i've played before were all QoTF based where lack of movement skill isn't an issue.

Also what's the recommended amulet. Do you run impresence or the effigon one? I have impresence and linked despair to increased area but low Int means i'm stuck at level 13 and the reach of the curse is not great tbh, just over half a screen maybe

I find the larger area of effect for despair to be very nice and well worth it. I got intelligence on both helm and boots to allow that. Which meant I had to top off some elemental resistance with jewels.

Yeah i have on boots but will have to find another helm with Int I guess. Also empower 3 instead of enhance 3 looks it will give about 10% more aoe in trade off for 10% effectiveness
Would the new unique belt ( gluttony) be worth it over a stygian? Or at least a nice placeholder until you fill all the tree jewels?
Took awhile to get going but build feels really strong, went the Kaom's heart hypertank way. Good stuff OP.

Volkuur's Guidance will make one element do poison damage. So buffs to that element will increase poison damage.
