Also, no mirage archer? I don't see why you wouldn't (except for tooltip dps lol) Shoot once at a boss to proc mirage archer, then proceed to barrage for 4 seconds. Using Tornado shot will let the mirage archer hit the boss a ton, applying more poisons, increasing DPS probably significantly if a boss lives long enough. Strictly for boss dps tho, ice shot is the best aoe map clearer.


if you unequip impresence, you can use the effigon. this buffs the shaper dps by way more than impresence+despair setup does. effigon is best in slot for this build, not impresence. make sure to check it out on pob. it also lets you completely ignore accuracy rating on helmet+quiver.
you can do hexproof maps with expensive gear. you dont need the mana on hit from poachers mark if you get a clarity/anger watchers eye and 1 jewel with +2 mana gain on hit. you can also roll up to +3 mana gain on hit on elder rings.

mirage archer is a cool support for sure, but as far as my testing goes, the poisons inflicted by mirage archer do not count to "poisons applied recently" because it was not a poison applied by ourselves but from a different entity.

Correct. In the Asc reveal it was any poison applied recently but on release that was changed to poisoned applied by you. Main use for Mirage archer is for additional knockback from king of the hill or to act as a Radar/speedclear when mapping (since it can see/shoot at things offscreen accurately).

It's a shame they changed it though as if it was any poison it could have made a Ranged Attack Totem version of the build viable using Skirmish/Soul Mantle.

This is my current build, still leveling and only used some jewels i had on my other char. Anything you could point out as to what i can/should change?

Planning to swap to 2 elder rings where 1 of them have poachers mark. Thanks!

swap out thrill killer for arcane chemistry or druidic rite. flask notes are strong!
you can get 3 jewel sockets for 4 passive points for a huge dps increase.

checking out your build and reading comments on the forum posts. I have a question though. You mention that the effigon is the best in slot for this build now in 3.2. However, im not quite sure i understand the choices. Impresence is strong and gives despair and effigon only provides bonus if they are blinded which you only have 3% chance for. Also, im not quite sure i understand when you use anger and when you dont. i though the whole mechanic behind having cloak of defiance was to have MoM on a large mana pool, thus having anger kinda ruins that?

Further i dont quite get the mechanic behind the poison flask (cant remember the name), but that kinda ruins the synergies between the assassin crit node since this flask doesnt allow crit bonuses?

Hi, here's my build and I don't know where to get life, that my main problem. What should I do and is there something I can do on my tree to optimise it better ?

Now i made some changed and go of course with assa.
what do you think???
i'm using overload because i go for mom and because better overall damage when i don't have the condition on full and low life target i have also a jewel with onslaught because i swap the silver flask for mapping.
low life condition and cat buff are not active

regarding the effigon: barrage has 12 hits/attack, ice shot has a bit less considering chains. with 6 attacks/second, thats around 70 hits per second. with a blind on hit jewel that rolls between 3-6%, it is safe to say that everything becomes blinded within the first second of attacking. this build lacks accuracy rating. also, crit builds benefit heavily from the hits cant be evaded mod because accuracy is rolled twice for crits. PoB shows that effigon provides far more dmg than impresence+despair does.

for the cloak version, dont use anger. if you really want to burst some big boss down and dont care about survivability, you can turn it on (aka 0% exp quick shaper run).
for the GG belly version, there is no MoM so anger is an obvious dps boost.

coralito's signature only removes the crit multiplier for hits but not for ailments. you can see this flask as a diamond flask with 75% inc poison duration on top of it for this build.

you really need to get cloak of defiance. this will boost your ehp from 2600 to around 3800.

you need better flasks. life/mana flask dont give you anything. if you lack currency for taste of hate/dying sun, at least get a silver flask. coralito's signature is a nice swap for a magic diamond flask.

you could get some life on jewels. its expensive though. also, life on quiver is low. maybe its better to skill out of lethality for now and skill some life notes at the scion life wheel if you feel like you need more tankiness AFTER BUYING CLOAK OF DEFIANCE ;D

very nice build, cool to see the old EO version work so well. not much to improve, your gear is nuts.

did you consider using the effigon? it would be a small dmg buff compared to your current amulet and would let you ignore acc rolls on your gear. but since its the eo and lightning version and you dont rely on crits, it might be not so worth it.
