[3.12] KissMeQuick's Gladiator Reave: REBORN — T19 100% Maps & A8 Sirus Deathless — Starter friendly

Here goes a stupid question:

I'm reading about this build and wanted to basically do the MF variation. What I'm not understanding is in the MF equipment section it shows a mace and a claw, neither of which work with cleave?

I don't see many people here using it here, but Watcher's Eye with +% critical strike chance while affected by Hatred is really powerful. For example equipping it instead of a 3x dmg stat regular jewel increases my dps by about 9% (14% if you got no jewel in slot.) Costs about 5ex+ but definitely worth it.

Same with corrupted Tombfist with either curse enemies with vulnerability or elemental weakness (elemental weakness is slightly better but a lot more expensive.) The vulnerability implicit alone adds +12% total dps to my build.

Definitely something to look out for maxing your dps.

Would probably help to realize this is a REAVE build not a CLEAVE build.

Not the creator of the guide, but I can help a bit here.

You probably don't want to use reave until you have quite a bit of attack speed and multistrike. I'd suggest holding off for a while. Around level 40 give it a spin and see how you like it. Also, I can't stress this enough: GET VAAL REAVE. It makes an enormous difference.

As for chest armor, all the usual suspects will work here. I'd suggest a belly if you can't get a really good shaped/elder 6link since it's a bit low on hp.

I can confirm this. I actually waited til about 53 ish to switch over. I was doing 2x the DPS with cleave and really until i could 5 link reave it wasn't worth it.

You could invest in better rings, get higher rolls of flat phys. Tombfist gloves with 2 abyssal sockets and abyss jewels for them. Invest in other jewels and get more sockets I think (two are reachable and a third next to golem's blood).

Yes you can do uber labs, but either bring another life flask or refund Vaal Pact if you run into trouble. I did that a couple times.
