[3.3 Raider] Muirey's 2h Freezing Cyclone - Raider Edition!

Carcass > Bronn's? not sure why my dps seems low
Profile is private so I don't know either :D

Carcass is better early on because it helps you balance resists and has life on it. Not that it's "bad" later on. Bronn's is more glass cannon big D dps kill it before it kills you kinda thing.

Sorry looks like I had it set to public. not sure why you couldn't see. Thanks for checking anyway
VP Update: Level 90 and cleared white map Elder last night. Some of the mechanics seemed buggy, but I just leveled and didn't care about XP. I am sitting on around 200k with Frenzy and flasks, but I also have Elemental Focus and ~70% dmg if recently killed from 4 jewels. Have around 6-7 ex and not sure what to upgrade next. Daresso is 4 ex and relatively little change to build. And Disfavour is 8 ex and will require links, new jewels, changing passives, etc.

Bronn's wins out in speed and DPS because of movement speed, +2, and 25% atk speed. Carcass wins out in range and defenses. I was all about Bronn's, but switched to Carcass and already sold my 5L Bronn's.

4L gloves adds Fortify and/or BM. If not wanting to 4L, switch Increased Duration to Fort or BM.
Change Juggernaut to jewel socket right above it. Get better jewel in belt.
Empty crafts on rings.. flat damage, defensives, or INT for skill gems.
You can upgrade your belt to a better Stygian for more HP and dmg for relatively cheap and use ring crafts to balance resists. Or look into a Fortify belt and open up more damage on 5L with full life dmg, Maim, etc. If you can weave in Fortify Leap Slam, that will also free up the slot.

You will also get a lot more damage once you get your gems re-leveled back from 20%. Could get another low end DPS flask like Atziri's Promise and/or Lion's Roar. With the speed of this build, sustaining flasks is just up to map density.

No worries, I don't know why it didn't show up then but meh internet, who knows! I can see it now so that's what matters.

A quick look your gear and links look fine. If you want more damage you can find a belt with fortify on melee stun and use dmg on full life instead of fortify in you cyclone links.

This belt was like.. 3c when I bought it. Basically gives you fortify 100% of the time while clearing and you can keep fortify in leap slam links for bosses.

These are the changes I'd make to your passive tree. You shouldn't need Spirit void at this point since you have the Tireless wheel. You skipped Fangs of frost which is a good amount of damage. Upto you if you take the jewel slot above Juggernaut or not.

Abyss jewels are pretty good and fairly cheap for how strong they can be. Flat life is valuable for us because most of the uniques we use don't have it. We have high % life from tree though. I would look into getting some decently priced abyss jewels.

Like this for example. One abyss jewel with onslaught on kill will give you onslaught almost all the time as well.

Also a Fertile Mind by Fervour or Brute Force Solution by Juggernaut will fix all your int problems for now. If you do use one of these jewels you can also remove the one point from Ancestral Knowledge.

awesome build, super fun to play.
I'm having a lot of fun playing this build and the clear speed is crazy compared to the other cyclone builds I've played. I wonder if ditching the life nodes above for the damage and life nodes below would be better. I'm trying it now and my life is about the same but with some extra damage. I'm not sure if the mana reduction is necessary for when the gems are qualitied later and maybe that's why. Just did uber lab and it went quite smoothly.

Thanks, I'm glad to hear you are both having fun!

As for the life/damage nodes you mention vs Tireless wheel, it is actually something I have been thinking of. For doing Boss fights such as shaper/guardians I use a Cyc-EDwA-Melee Phy-Dmg on Full-Conc-Ele Focus setup. Which is about 55 mana per spin without tireless. I haven't tried the build without tireless on a boss fight, so I couldn't say how much it is 'needed'. I tend to use tireless because the wheel has a decent amount of life, some quality of life and is on the path I intend to take, so why not.

www.poeurl.com/bHrb

This is a path I've been thinking about trying out when I get a chance, which does go down to the nodes you mentioned. It's along the lines of normal Slayer Cyclone builds I've played, just starts over at Ranger. The reason I did not take this path was not knowing how much health we needed to be effective in 3.1 and beyond. This path nets us 195% which is pretty good and could be fine for our needs. It's also upto personal preference. Some like to be tankier, while some(myself included), like to be on the glass cannon side of things.

Giving up the tireless wheel vs not, meh up to the person playing. I like having it but others may feel it's wasted which is fine. Build isn't set in stone! More so now with 3.1 changes than before. For reference this is roughly the pre-3.1 passive tree:www.poeurl.com/bHrl minus 1 point for old VP. Doing Shaper with a max 166% life from tree before jewels, heh. Was fun!

Things changed though so I don't know what the 'final' pathing will be but the one now is solid and allows for going more dps(as you did) or getting a ton more life(241% from tree alone no jewels). Also paths by two movement speed clusters and near Primeval Force wheel is someone wanted more freeze chance. The options are the main reason I took the current path as a 3.1 start.

If we can get away with less life:www.poeurl.com/bHrs is what I will probably end up doing. We shall see!

I'd keep saving for disfavour myself. It's a huge upgrade. I only got a daresso's because they were 2ex right as things were changing from Chaos to Ex. Otherwise I'd keep saving for Disfavour. Disfavour will slowly start getting cheaper as more get thrown into the market.
