My tree/gear are optimized around a Phys/Spell wand. Wand: Physical DPS, Spell Damage, Chaos Damage to Attacks, Crit/Crit Multi, Attack Speed Helm: Crown of Eyes. Spell Damage = ATTACK DAMAGE SCALING. Makes multiplying flat chaos/phys damage on gear/wand easy peasy. Chest: Get as much Energy Shield and Resists as possible. Intelligence is a nice bonus for more ES. Shield: Again, Energy Shield and Resists. For DPS, get Spell Damage as well (remember, Crown of Eyes scaling). Intelligence for more ES. Gloves: These can go one of two ways, DPS or defensive. Generally, get Energy Shield, Resists, Added Damage to Attacks, Attack Speed, Accuracy, whatever your character needs. Boots: You NEED Skyforth's for a few reasons. Stun immunity, Power Charge generation, and reduced mana reservation are all very powerful. If you can't afford Skyforth's, you can use Assassin's Mark on your Herald of Ice, as well as Eye of Chayula amulet OR Valyrium ring. Belt: Defensive slot for us. I went for Strength, Resists, Energy Shield, and a bit of armour. Amulet: Priority here is Critical Strike Chance and Crit Multiplier. Added Physical/Chaos to Attacks and Spell damage are great DPS boosts as well. % Max Energy Shield, resists, stats, anything else you need can go here too. Rings: Since I'm a Physical wander, I go for Steel Rings with Flat Physical to Attacks, Chaos to Attacks, Energy Shield %, and then whatever suffixes you need. Accuracy, Resists, Stats, Attack Speed, Crit Multi, all are great here. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Gem Links IN ORDER OF PRIORITY:

(Use something else if you have a pure chaos/spell damage wand, Vinktar's works) Bleed immunity/easy crit chance. 2 additional projectiles for KB and Barrage. Great dps/aoe boost. Hi,
Have you tried the retch? I am using a similar build in standard with lots of ES, CoE, but going elemental dmg with vinktars and retch. Retch could improve your dmg. Lose defenses but gain lots of dmg. Forget about gems, just testing. Normal setup would be added lighting damage and lighting pen or going phys and phys to lighting, so will leech from phys and scale light on vinktar. I still have to improve tree, links and gear, I was testing ES version of wanders and still seems a good option. considering the phys conversion wander full can have 15M shaper dps at it's 85% potential
https://pastebin.com/AwniD8Cd and since this build is using close to mirror worthy wand, almost mirror worthy material shield, mirrored amulet, and rings which just lack 25% crit multi on them, the dps numbers aren't very promising i must say. death's opus with inquisitor can have 7M dps easily with above average gear.
