[3.6] Zombiemancer - High Survivability - End Game Viable
" I'm not sure what you even mean, but totem and minion stats are completely seperate. " You die so fast because of your elemental resistances. They need to be at least 75%. Use both auras and get "Commander of Darkness" from the third lab for 20% extra resistances and get the rest on rare rings, belt and shield. The amulet helps you to get to 1000 strength, so you are able to use the body armour that gives you Zealot's Oath and also some elemental resistances. |

Hey I'm trying to build my necromancer according to your build.
I bought many gear almost just like you. But I dont know why I'm still weak!! I cant pass even tier 5 God damn!! The question is : -what skill are you using while you leveling? -I use sill hasted it suck all my mana, what should I do? -why I'm still weak, I have almost all your gear? -what should I do next or what should I fix my build? Thanks for all your answer. Last edited by xstations on Nov 12, 2018, 11:06:05 AM

" You can find some tips in the leveling section of the guide. Enlighten and Empower do nothing at level 1, they need to be at least level 2 for this build. You have the wrong Ascendancy node for this build, "Soul Weaver" is not needed. But most importantly, you need to get enough elemental resistances. Everything below 75%, the natural maximum, is very dangerous. And dont forget that every unique item plays an important part in the final build, so I recommend to get all of them to make this build work. |
|
" OMG!!!!! Enlighten and Empoer need sooooooo much skill point to upgrade to level 2. This is for real!!!!!!! How many year that skill will level up? Edit: I think I got it now, the baron + 1000str will make my zomby leech life for me. So, I think the first thing is 1000 STR. Last edited by xstations on Nov 13, 2018, 8:48:23 AM

Very Nice Build , possible starter league ?

Thanks a lot for this wonderful build. I had to swap a few nodes to get the dex/int requirement while squeezing 1204 strength, but I managed to make it work, and the entire build for under 2 ex (which meant it could be my second character in this game, with the first being quite weak that's pretty newcomer friendly).
I'm currently having a blast, it' super strong, I just 6 linked it today, and will be even more so once I max out my current 19/20 gems (and my 2/20 empower). I'm kind of wondering what the next step should be though: I suppose the strongest boost would be a 21/20 zombie and a 4 empower but that's a pretty steep price curve (twice the cost of the entire build for a single gem, unless I farm 8 of them and pray for luck). I can see ways to increase my HP pool (currently sitting on 10k2 HP/ES) but is there an "easy" way to up my dmg that's not quite at the "spend x ex" level? I'm farming the lab for any of the good head enchant I can find but it will take a while! In any case, thanks a lot, I've always loved necromancer and the clever 1200 str version is one of my favourite I've played, safe and powerful. I hope I can kick Shaper's ass when I get to him.
" The problem with playing this as a league starter is the price of the gloves early in the league. They are a Shaper only drop and it takes some time until enough people kill Shaper to provide the market. " I notice a lot of new players trying this build, which is nice to hear that they have fun with it. I wouldnt even say it's really beginner friendly, since it relies on some synergies between items and requires a certain threshold to even work (1000 strength). Yea, the biggest damage increase is 21/20 zombies and empower 4. Both do the same thing, but the zombie gem is cheaper, so get that first if you go for it. A cheaper way to get more damage is to get a Mon'tregul's with a 100% damage roll. |
|
" Yeah a 100% Montregul would be relatively cheap but it's also only a 1.3% dmg increase. I guess there are no easy answers. Well I'll scourge PoE trade for cheap rares and finish farming my 20/20 3/20, but other than that I'll now focus on getting to Shaper. I thank you again for this great build which is giving me the motivation to go after the Atlas.
Followed this build and all I can say is well... best build I played so far, took me into the endgame (killed Shaper, Elder, Uber Elder and so their Guardians).
Worth to mention is that if you delve deep, like 350, 400+ deph you would like to swap from haste to Grace (+Vaal Grace) and so Bone Offering which works just perfect making your survi just better. Also when it comes to bossing/mapping Spirit Offering is cool. Why? Well if we run Mistress of Sacrifice (don't forget we run over 4k ES) then Spirit Offering kinda "heal" our ES for cool amount, because of the % of our HP, which is high because of stacking the strength. True, it is not so easy to stack up to 1200+ strength but if you take max roll uniques (like The Baron with +40) also gems and play around the rares like shield, rings and belt it's getting easier. About the dmg, yes there is huge difference between 20/20 and 21/20. I was lucky with Vaaling and with setup of 21/20 zombies and Empo lv 4 the Zombies just delete things on your way. I got recorded Shaper run with this build, once I upload it I can share, so you can see how easy it is. But I ended up (for now) on 96 lv, 6.8k life and 3.9k (while mapping and using Spirit Offering it's 5k) ES and I can say again, it was worth to try this build, that will become my favourite for long long time I guess. The difference, I just gaved for my Animate Guardian the Kingmaker (for culling strike for zombies), also he use Meginord's gloves with 12 lv Vulnerability curse and I'm using cast while channeling setup to apply Ele Equalibrium and spam offerings. I like to summon things ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ IGN: @Dosarphic Last edited by Dosarphic on Nov 13, 2018, 10:49:40 PM
