[3.5] Lioneye's Glare Ele Conversion Raider (all content, videos up)

Hey, would like to ask about difference in damage scalling. On gear you prefer to get flat phys, then abyss jewels are full of flat ele. So flat phys on abyss jewels would be better, but because of their cost you decided to pick flat ele?

I'd be grateful for some kind of explanation here!

Has anyone tried this in 3.3 yet & kill Uber Elder? I tried this spec in the temp league they had before Incursion & had a very painful time due to lack of currency. I'm debating either this or a Deadeye Ele Hit build & wondering which would be better overall. Obviously both can do Uber Elder I believe.

What are you using for life leech? I think I'm missing something :o

Uber elder is pretty hard for this build but not impossible. I did it (took me several tries though) and few people before in this thread claimed to have done it. It's hard because this build has around 5-6k life and you can't just cheese them with dps because of many invulnerable phases that the fight has. You also need to stand in place aim with your attacks which leaves you exposed, you can't just run around and auto do damage like BV or RF can.

Phys amulet/ring rolls are much better than abyss jewels phys rolls.

For example the max phys roll for amulets is 15-26 and max ele roll is 7-72 while the max roll of a single phys mod on an abyss jewel is 8-12 while the ele roll is still 7-72.

Phys rolls on abyss jewels are still good but are comparable to ele rolls while phys rolls are superior than ele rolls on jewellery.

I have plenty of abyss jewels with mixed phys/ele rolls and it makes the build flexible as you're not limited to a certain pool of mods.

what should i change to gain more armour, life and resistence?

Hi! I'm new, and I'm trying this build in the incursion league and in maps I'm doing pretty well.

My problem is that for the incursions in the temple, the ones with a timer, I always get killed in the first two or three seconds.

If I get to kill some bosses during the incursions and then do the temple I do alright, it's only when I enter at first and all the mobs are shoting right at me and kill me instantly.

Maybe there is something I'm doing wrong?

Hey! what's killing you is ranged temple constructs, they have quite large phys/spell dps especially in a group. What you need to do is to:

1) Don't stand in an open where you can get attacked from all sides, instead pick a corner, clear from there and keep close to a wall

2) The constructs first lock on to you and then fire so if you keep shooting and moving all the time you won't get hit, you will get hit if you stand in one place. In short you need to stutter step (attack-move-attack-move) with your character

2. change your amulet to a rare one

3. change your boots to bubonic trail or rare ones.
