The problem is PtL is only adding more damage to 50% of your phys on the skill you're using, and we're scaling pretty much only elemental dmg. Switching the scaling to the tree and adding another big chunk of flat elemental damage is a big upgrade. Playing around with your setup on path of building looks like about 10% more overall dps....unless I'm doing something wrong. Take off 3 dps nodes you need to pick for winter spirit and it will be less. Also you need to find 10% more conversion somewhere, corrupted signal fire is a good idea but I have +1 arrow so it's obviously better. But it's close enough that it's worth playing around I think.
