[3.5] Lioneye's Glare Ele Conversion Raider (all content, videos up)

So the way elemental conversion works is a bit like below (from my understanding):

let's say if we have 100 physical damage, we have 50% conversion to fire, and then 40% conversion to cold and 10% converted the lightning (for shits and giggles)

This means now you have 50 fire dmg and 40 cold dmg and 10 lightning dmg but will now deal 0 physical (nice for physical reflect maps)

Here's where the fun begins.

if we now look at Gain 35% of Physical Damage as Extra Fire Damage from signal fire. This takes the original 100 phy dmg, and take 35% of this and add on to the fire dmg.

now you have 50+35 fire dmg, 40 cold and 10 lightning. (that's where the boost is)

with winter spirit node on our tree taken - now we are doing 50+35 fire, 40+20 cold and 10 lightning

Throw in Atziri promise flask effect - thats 20% more converted to Chaos dmg AND you have 15% on your total elemental dmg.

Sounds op right? Imagine now we have an item that adds physical dmg like a Jewel.

lastly.

In terms of physical to elemental conversion (not gain), you can have parts that adds up to more than 100% conversion. The game will trim it so that they all "scale" into 100% total.

If we have 90% conv from phys to ele (Signal Fire + 40% from tree) are phys reflect maps safe to do?

If we get 100% conversion from signal fire and phys to lightning gem, what nodes should i aim for?

at 90% conversion, I don't really think so, because the map still reflects 15% of Every hit and your TS scatters far and wide.

if I'm using my voidflechter setup I have 90% conversion and if the mob density is high enough it straight up kills me.

So I guess the answer is probably no.

If you are running physical to lightning on both skills - Barrage and TS. I guess you can potentially free up the winter spirit node (three passive points) for something else.

I personally like the nodes because extra 30% cold dmg but if you really want you can take some of the Global physical damage increase nodes like will of the blades or projectile dmg like sniper.
What's a good unique armor to use while we can't afford a Shroud? Original guide said Ashrend, is it still good?
Awesome build! Was wondering if you could post how to allocate points while leveling. Was leveling with toxic rain but damage and clear felt really bad. Even just an order in which to build towards important nodes while leveling would be super helpful. Thanks!
could someone take a look at my build?
I'm having real diffeculties at t9+ maps :(

My gear is worth a couple exalts by now...

Not sure what i'm doing wrong or what to upgrade.

I have another 3 exalts ready to be spend on upgrades.

Thanks in advance
1) Buy a signal fire for damage
2) Swap to shroud as chest piece
3) Buy gems with maximum life on them ur missing alot there
So higher up question. My gear is pretty good now and clearing shit but assassins are nasty on red maps. If I have enough currency for a 2nd 6L Lionseye would moving to a weapon swap for between Barrage and TS and using KAOMs instead be a huge jump in survivability. Currently 5.7k HP at lvl 90
is there anything else you can go instead of lioneye's glare?

also what about lioneye's fall jewel on claw nodes
If we drop pierce on tornado how much we need to invest on the passive three 3 points(1 target pierce) or 5 (3 target pierce)?
Thanks
