Quick update to my last post. I bit the bullet and replaced my Hyrri's with a Rigwald's, which also allowed me enough Lightning resist to swap out my gloves for Sadima's, and swapped out my rare ring for a slightly better one. I also bought a Starkonja's with 40% tornado shot damage enchant.
Rigwald's is an incredibly huge upgrade for this build, I had been putting it off because I wasn't sure how strong it would really be in comparison to Hyrri's. When I first bought it I was a bit worried because my tooltip dps actually dropped, but using it has given me CONSIDERABLY more damage, both on packs of mobs and single target vs bosses. I do wish I could pump a bit more life into this build, I am currently at 4477 which feels a bit low, but the leech is so strong that it doesn't usually feel like much of an issue. Movement speed is also very very slow without flasks and rampage stacks, which can make backtracking through maps a pain. I do prefer using Devoto's for the movement speed, but the lack of life is rough when my life is already so low. Anyway, just a quick update, not really sure what to upgrade next. I don't have much currency at the moment but I guess I'll be farming a bit more efficiently with these upgrades. Recommendations for upgrades are welcome :) | |

Hey all,
Any advice on what to get in regards of helmet, since the +2 tornado shot proj starkonja is ~10 ex currently and that's waay out of my budget ( that's about my whole budget) Should I got for a rare one with life/res ? Should I get a starkonja's with the other ts enchant ? Apologies if this has been answered before, it's a 200 page thread. Thanks. | |

It's pretty self explaining isn't it.
If you lack resistances you go for some normal yellow helm to fill the gap; if resistances are fine you go for starkonja/devoto/lightpoacher without the enchant. Get a dying sun, its dirt cheap compared to what it offers. | |

" Regarding you dying to mobs, you're missing many defensive nodes on the skill tree, and you are also level 77. Getting to level 90, or at least close to level 90 does not take a lot of time at all. If you need help there are always mapping parties up in the public groups. Why are you spending 3 skill points on 2 'Life Leech' and 1 'Life and Mana Leech' nodes? They are not needed at all. Spend 2 of those points to get Primal Spirit and mana will not be a problem at all, spend the other point on Vaal Pact and life leech should not be a problem. You are missing 4 Ascendancy skill points. If you're having trouble doing the trials you can buy a boost for next to nothing. Many people sell boosts for 10c fee+your Offering. You are missing 10% Fire Resistance. You are missing Vaal Pact. You are missing Primal Spirit and 1 '+8% increased maximum Mana' node leading up to it. You're missing Thick Skin and 1 '+4% increased maximum Life' node leading up to it. You're missing Golem's Blood and 1 '+5% increased maximum Life' node leading up to it. You're missing 1 Jewel Socket. You're missing 1 Frenetic node(damage related, not survivability related). You are missing '+# to maximum Life' on your Abyssal Jewels. You're missing Phase Acrobatics and 3 '+3% additional chance to Dodge Attack Hits' nodes leading up to it. TL:DR You are missing many defensive nodes, including Vaal Pact. You are missing 4 Ascendancy points; the damage from which will greatly help you in killing stuff faster, and the more damage you do: the more life and mana you leech, and also of course the more damage you deal the less hits you take from mobs. " About missing Fire res, all resistance on 75%++ I noticed that something is wrong in my skill tree..I changed it and it is much easier, well I've farmed uber lab on my arc elementalist, guide from Enki,so its no problem for me, but i get some trouble on Izaro, need to try it with this changes, start playing PoE after 1 week of Betrayal league so I'm still learning everyday ! :)I get 2 or 3 points for skill tree, missed some OPTIONAL missions. Thank you for your time in writing all this. I will check again my skill tree with this from GUIDE on lvl 75 to be sure.. thanks again! Can i look on your skill tree or is it the same as the guide? " Assassin's Mark is linked with Curse on Hit, that's why you can't use it. I see you refunded both your Jewel Sockets, got Vitality Void and didn't refund the Health/Mana leech. You do not need this. It is a huge waste. Vaal Pact takes care of it, you're throwing away 4 skill points. I strongly recommend you refund those useless nodes and get Primal Spirit instead. Once you get your Ascendancy Points and level up more now you'll be doing good in both damage and survivability. Once you get to about level 88-90 you can start using points on whatever you like. My character is FemaleWoman. My skill tree is modified, I don't recommend you follow it unless you have good Abyssal Jewels(with +# to Maximum Life), Headhunter, Rigwald's Quills, +2 TS Helmet enchant and you're level 93. For now, I'm guided by the skill tree for level 75, 2 levels more to 80 and i swap it correctly and start doing lab.

Would appreciate some advice if possible - first time running an MF build with a bow (tried KB wander a few patches ago before the nerfs).
I haven't equipped any MF gear yet, waiting until higher levels and uber ascension before doing that, but I'm really struggling with mana issues - i've turned wrath off for now, but even so I'm spamming the mana flask every few seconds. Have I done something wrong/omitted anything? I've followed the guide fairly closely and have been reading recent pages in this thread too. My gear: I know some of the gear needs updating or switching out for MF replacements, I'll do that in 10 levels or so. Just wondering if I can sort the mana issues for now? My plan is to go the lioneye's route for now (7 more levels for that). I also have a 5L barrage weapon swap, but obviously i'd lose the herald for that.
