Hi. I decided to make this character in Standard so i have something to play in between the leagues. Should i socket my IIQ gem in Tornado Shot or in Herald of Ice for maximum effect?

If I was you I would place it into HoI setup, but for this you will need 5 or 6link HoI setup, consider next gems: Enlighten lvl 3+, Onslaught, HoI, CoH, Assasin Mark, IIQ Gem. Or dump out Enlighten 3, but you might be short of mana then. Ofcourse thats counterable by taking mana nodes on the tree!
Awesome Build thanks for show everyone this!
Quick question:
If i choose Raider, is the skilltree/equip/etc the same?

If you talk about the one on the right it’s Tail Wind from Deadeye Ascendency.

The others one are from HeadHunter which gives you all the buff of the rares you killed
Such a fun build!

This character blasts away nearly everything, any tier, except uber elder with just amulet swap for boss (uber elder guardians are easy). In 6 person parties shit just gets deleted. I really like Bisco leash but may as well use HH if you got one. To get to 100 I think it is better to use grace over wrath.

Fire resist needs flasks for cap but needed it low to get cold pen from Wise Oak with Dying Sun up. Rocking a 6 link herald in chest. Acuities are insane for int and instant leech. Need decent Abyss jewels though. Plenty of gem slots spare to level gems for more $.
I guess next upgrade would be better Ventors but I would prob lose the 20% pen unless I use Bisco Leash to gain higher cold res with Dying Sun up so I guess not worth since kills are so fast and flasks always up. I went Deadeye, sitting on 4550ish life
Dont know if I should use this and get an onslaught jewel

I think I should just farm as is and not worry about upgrades.
GLHF loot hunting.
Spent whatever on this build already. Really irritates on boss fights.
Everything else doesn't even need any serious gear. Just 6L Bow, doesn't even have to be Windripper and farm currency.
For boss fights, no idea, I got tirde trying to scale it over 120k DPS and that DPS sucks for endgame bosses + you get one hitted by them.
Definitely not Uber or Endgame Boss farmer, unless you would invest (or even would need to craft yourself, since there isn't some stuff on the market at all). But then, why would you need currency farmer to begin with.......Those things are doable, but are pain, compared to other cheaper by miles builds.
Anyway, fun build, personally, would recommend to sticking up to 3-5ex, no more and farming something on white/yellow maps for money, then playing with something proper for all content and interesting gameplay.

So i'm debating wether going with some ranger WR variant focusing on ele damage or duelist slayer phys damage to start next league...

Are they equivalent dps wise? Seems slayer gets better survivability and as much speed as the ranger..
HI,

i will start this build again in the next days, wil it work on 3.5?

Thanks for your answers :)
