" The nodes aren't strong enough because you already get 91% increased life from Soul Mantle and the resistance nodes (the resists are worth it though). levelling was a breeze, first rounds in maps easy.... this build is incredibly strong and i fell in love with it. besides scourgeflurry one of my favourite builds of all time (and i played POE for the last years a lot).

" It's a good node, but every other node in the tree is better than it (Atrophy is the closest in terms of damage). It's only worth to pick up if you want the totem placement speed. Builds and Guides:

Hi Shep
You previously gave me advice on choosing between life & MoM builds. I went MoM & am now lvl 90 & have been progressing up to tier 14/15's (furthest I've ever gotten!). I wanted to touch base again as I'm reading posts where people are pulling massive numbers & blitzing through end game bosses etc (& at much lower levels than me). I'm confused as I my stats seem so much weaker than others e.g. life / es & the main one is my dps. I'm only reaching around 25-40k dmg (can't recall what it is with diamond flask proc'd). This seems a lot lower than what others are saying. I tested using Apep's wands & my dps went up but I felt a bit squishier. I've made my profile public so if you have time, are you able to look at Khaeliya & give me advice on what I need to improve? I finally have currency to buy a 6 link chest but wasn't sure if there was something else I should prioritise e.g. a helm with dark pact 40% dmg enchant (or diff e/c??); going with 2 x void batteries & Inyaa's boots; investing in diff jewels; something else entirely? I honestly have no idea why my numbers seem so low! Other notes: * I'm not using Kaom's currently as I need the resistance & like the speed boost, altho I do have an enchanted pair I can use. * I manually cast my golem. * I run with Arctic Armor & Clarity (I have Haste socketed but don't use it). I would appreciate any advice that you can give. Thanks Luna :D |
