I'd like to hear a different score when beating a Boss.

When I kill Brutus the music just continues and there is no "A Winner is You!" anthem.

Something fitting over a hard battle would be nice.
Clam and rewarding.

Same goes for when you die. (to be honest right now I dont know if the music changes when you die) But something that is creepy and lingering when you died would be nice.

---This---

I still remember clearing out Den of Evil for the first time. That choral was just refreshing and it really added to a feeling that something important has been done.

about the majority of the sounds... are we getting an major overhaul or most of the things will stay? There's very little power to some spells, for example Ice Spear or Freezing Pulse...
I think it would be a great addition to have alert sounds for monsters, that play when they first see you. If you think back to the original doom, you'll get what I'm talking about.

If you try it out and it seems like too much, maybe just only for rare/champion monsters, or maybe any monster but only rarely. Or, only play them after the player has been out of combat for x seconds.

I just remember in doom hitting a switch and hearing the sound of a thousand enemies all screeching. Or going around a dark corner and hearing the pinky demon sound.
I posted this in Suggestions, but since it's specific to Audio I might as well post it here:

I spend a lot of time in towns while trading items and reading through the chat. I assume I'm not the only one. While I do this, I often watch videos in youtube or listen to music or do other things that require sound.

This is EXTREMELY annoying because of the fact that, to listen the "click" sound you get when you get a PM, you must keep sound effects on. But this also means you get to hear the sound of burning wood in Lioneye's watch, or the birds chirping in Forest Encampment, or the running water in Sarn Encampment. There's nothing wrong with this, but I hate having to listen to it while I'm doing something completely unrelated.

So my suggestion would be to separate "sound effects" into "game sound effects" (sound effects of things that happen in the game) and "UI sound effects" (sounds that menu button do when you click them, the sound of getting a PM, etc).

Alternatively, there could simply be an option called "turn off town sound effects".

Thank you for reading.
The pen is mightier than the sword, yet it is more permanent than a pencil.
We will be adding a Ambient audio fader eventually. this should solve your issue.
The audio guy.
I would love an option to make the "received a whisper"-sound bypass the "Mute when in background".
Please don't end up making the audio emit like Diablo III. By this I mean don't make everything play as though the source is far to the left or far to the right (regardless of distance from you) unless you are lined up directly above/below the audio source.

It's just annoying as fuck when wearing headphones as you can stand next to a shop keeper in that game and the shop keepers greeting will be heard as though they are standing near the far edge of the screen. Sound FX are also annoying without an appropriately wide "center" in the "sound stage" (The Demon Hunter has Chakram's that spiral away from you and if you fire them up or down the audio cycles back and forth between hard left to hard right).

I almost exclusively wear stereo headphones when using the PC and my soundcard isn't configured for surround sound or CMSS3D/HRTF 3D simulation shit.

I wanted to suggest adding a sound effect for when a new message appears in the chat. Games like Diablo 3, Tera and C9 have this option and I end up not noticing when someone from my party sent a message to me during the gameplay.
Thanks for the oportunity, this will be a great game, I sure! :)
I think Nessa needs to slow down when she talks. It kinda bothers me because no one really talks that fast.
Permanent Hardcore only.
Having had three jobs that require me to answer the phone all day long, I can assure you that some people do, in fact, talk that fast. Or much faster. I've never had a problem understanding Nessa. She just seems stressed out all the time.
Please add some kind of sound effect for when the character runs out of mana. Yes, my character does say something like "I'm out of mana" but not every time. In most cases, he just stands there doing nothing.

I understand that excessive combat dialogue may annoy players, but the lack of indications annoys me to a greater extent.
