the bow 110% of phys as added each element happens regardless of conversion. so no, it doesn't reduce the dmg at all.
it actually is better to convert all phys dmg to elemental because we scale elemental dmg harder with supports like WED and elemental focus.

converting all dmg to elemental it will still scale with both phys and elemental, and whatever element you converted it to pretty equally.

Only use ele focus on barrage. I'd rather have 10% chance to shock/freeze/ignite on my clearing skill than 4% ele dmg on both.

I wanna try your build on HHC, I've enough currency to maybe get 1 6L doomfletch if not then just 2 5L ones, a kaoms heart, ToH and some budget jewelry. I'm just wondering if I could replace the Dying Sun with a normal ruby flask instead?
