Hello , thanks for the build...
I know this is probably answered somewhere, and i know theres a solid how to level section in the thread. But its lacking some stuff id like to know While you guys managed to pull out some insane Deeepppzz with GG gear.. I am there just trying to get the lvl up. I am playing this thing in harbinger hardcore,and it makes it harder to test stuff. SO i just got done with a10. I was wondering,whats the best skills to actually chain low map? Tornado shot seems really slow. I thought it would act good cause you can use for single target too,but its actually really bad at clearing. So im thinking maybe LA or ? My second question, what is the most important stats to get the dps up, ON A NOOB CHARACTER. Im thinking really noob. Should i focus on getting wed/flat phys or flat elem rings?

I havent geared myself yet LOL. I wont be able to buy a 6l. Not soon. I got 300c sitting around. I got a good farmer but im trying to build this for more IIR ( bisco amulet +windripper maybe) and then i wanna attempt at least a few guardians. Im aware what i need to push the build ,what i ask is what i can do , like , right now,to just make it viable for noob mapping ( exping ) I took raider just cause i thought it would go faster mapping. Im not gonna get wise oak til i push red maps and stuff. Like i said,i ust want to get the thing rolling and eventually go all in with it. Sorry for the wall of text,any help is appreciated. |

Btw what is your tooltip dmg at without any buffs/flasks for Tornado shot?

" Hey man, if you're not gonna go the pen route until later, then you need to concentrate on stacking flat phys wherever you can. You're in HHC so definitely no abyssus for you. I would recommend Meginords girdle, steel rings when you can equip them, or at least rings with t1-2 flat phys on them with life. wed is an afterthought compared to how big of a deal flat phys is. Stuff like: while leveling. I'll say it again - FLAT PHYS IS KING. Flat phys on gloves. Additional arrow drillneck. t1/t2 flat phys on amulet. etc.... Thanks , while lvling i bought every drillneck i saw popping around . I been lucky enough
but now with 2k tornado shot tooltip and only 3k life, not gonna risk it yet :) . Raider gets me frenzy and now i need to get some crit and a way to generate Pcharge i guess.Will get some t1-2 phys rings and i guess that helmet with 10-20phys seems to be a good starterlike abyssus with no downsize. Beside life. Will swap some stuff around and hopefully it can at least chain beach map til 80 with no problem. |

I'm nowhere near that, but then again, i need to buy an amulet, gloves, belt and boots still, but i can't see my dmg getting anywhere near that in tooltip even with that.

i use lightning arrow. i find it is the best clear skill you can get. i also just have pierce from tree (+2) and +1 from drillneck and thats all thats needed especially with lightning arrow.
tornado shot just feels too clunky, and ice shot isn't as good as clearing wide packs, but great for clearing deep packs. flat phys is great, but it honestly doesn't seem to be king of all kings. once you have enough flat phys it seems like wed is better. wed is best on belt since you can use a double life leather belt with resistances. girdle is horrible even for leveling. but a good place to get phys dmg is gloves and jewelry. and actually, as far as PoB calculates it, chance to bleed gives just slightly more damage than added cold damage. but legit just slightly. im not sure if pob is calculating the phys dmg properly tho (being added as all elements of damage) but it is possible. 44-66 dmg is essentially 48-72 to each element, which is 144-216 where as added cold is 169-254. however you'll have better scaling on the flat phys with phys increases and such. but anyway, a green socket is easier to get than a red, since we want 2-3 off colours anyway. I came back to this game after a couple of years (work sucks) and saw this build because it was tagged low budget in the build list and I really like rangers.
So maybe i'm stupid or I just don't get it, but I click the budget build recommendations and it says things like your hobo belt is 1 exalted. It recommends I level with a 6L Belly of the Beast (which is like 500c on ladder). Comparatively, if I look at low/high budget builds of like a Shadow, a low budget build is like 10c total and the high budget version is 300c total. Your low budget leveling chest alone is more than the entire budget of the high budget of another class. ??? | |

" You need to maximize flat phys on everything possible. It's the most important stat for our damage. OFC i'm min-maxed and can only really gain dmg if I replace 2-3 jewels or level up anymore.
