Now I come to the point where I need some help on progression because I have dilemma to buy six socket, and rings/ammy or to go for Abyssus+Koam and stay with 5l and progress. I have somewhat hit brick wall in t15 maps if they are corrupted so I don't know what and how to develop from here?

Anyone help from top exp players of these build would be appreciated! :)

Kaom's first, mandatory. You don't want to mess with ele res later, you want to know NOW where do you need the ele RES and kaom don't give a single fuck to your +90 life 25% 32% 12% whatever armour you have now.
Then jewellery (steel rings), then the gloves and finally the 6L because, in my opinion, it's preferable to have 2 doomfletchs 5L for progression and easy swap for HUGE qol than only one 6L. Besides you could even save chaos in order to get the jewellery/kaom.

hello guys,

thanks for that great build, its my 3rd char this season and still having a total blast playing it.

1 short question: i have most of the required uniques (kaoms, toh, dying sun). now, i had some luck with drops, my budget is like 400 chaos atm. so, what to buy? im happy with my survival and damage at the moment, so my options would be:

1) try to find new gloves belt boots that would finally balance my oaks (budget is too small for really insane items but should be ok to balance)
2) corrupted +1 drillneck
3) try to 6l my bow (ofc not safe with 400 chaos)

at the moment, im leaning towards +1 drillneck, but ill keep my chaos until the weekend, so input would be great!

1). Perfect capped res is something you could worry about if you have the two steel rings and the gloves because those will be the most expensive rare items you have to buy/craft. Then you have jewels, amulet, belt and boots to cap your res properly with a minimum investment (in my case, 60c or so).
If you are not sure enough on beeing able to cap all ele res at the same value then probably a diamond flask could give you better dps but worst defences (specially in ele weakness maps and/or reduced cap res). If you want to use wise oak no matter what I would recommend to have your cold res the highest and your lightning res the lowest.

2). Corrupted +1 drillneck is something way cheaper at the start of the league than nowadays, my recommendation is to vaal it for yourself unless you are rich enough to buy one. Mine is crafted.

3). I have 0 luck crafting 6L so I purchased a good dps doomfletch and the prophecy. Do what you prefer to be honest.

So all in all I think the cheaper way to get everything is to get first the expensive rare items, then the rest of rare items to cap your res so you trigger wise oak. During this process you could get some drillnecks and try to vaal them. Getting shrieking essences of contempt so you could easy get a T1 added phys dmg on both rings, amulet and gloves (and way cheaper than defeaning) don't be afraid to annul some mods and craft the ones you want. 6L is the last thing that you want because RNG and price.

Also always have in mind that accuracy below 95% and critical below 30% is not good. Try at least to get 90/40 or 95/25.

hi, thanks so much for your very fast and well written reply. with the expensive rares you mean gloves with the correct stats and 2 legit steel rings, right? sorry for being annoying, just want to be sure before i spend. thank you!

Yes you need steel rings somewhat similar to the build owner ones. Preferable with life, accuracy/crit or both and obviously the T1 added phys dmg which essences of contempt give. Res is nice but not mandatory. Instead of res you probably want some stats like str and/or intelligence (not mandatory on those rings but definitely useful so you are not that dependant on stats on your abyssus/jewels for easy swap helmets and get jewells that give you life, projectile damage and other sweet def/offensive stuff instead of having jewells that give stat points which sucks soooo bad to have allocated).
For the gripped gloves you want the T1 phys, any ele res (even 1 is good) and life. If you are lucky enough you could even get attack speed.

Steel rings and gripped gloves are expensive because the base item only drop on some really high tier maps and they're not common. So even a white one cost some chaos (imagine how much do they cost if they have the rolls you need...).

Wish I was helpful.

Hey, was curious what the best links are for lightning arrow and was wondering if it's much worse than TS, thanks!
Hey i kinda did my own version of the build with some major adjustments in a few items and a tiny bit in the skill tree.
If youre interested https://pastebin.com/WaG7KW7h
currently at 4,5 million dps for shaper but without an abyssus and
since its harbinger league and im not willing to spend 100 ex per ring and neck slots my jewellery is shit but you might wanna give the rest of the setup a shot :)

I wouldn't say Kaom's Heart is mandatory, and it's a luxury survival item. Even Drillneck isn't necessarily mandatory, as you could get by with any other +1 arrow quiver on a budget. Neither is triple balancing Wise Oak--something a LOT of people in this thread put a huge emphasis on. My resistances are all balanced, but I don't use Vinktar's, so lightning ends up falling off when Dying Sun and ToH are up.

At present, I'm using a physical damage Yriel's Fostering (lots of damage while the ursa is up) and The Tempest's Binding. I might roll with Tornado Shot in a 6L for a while and change helms.

Ahfack should probably update the guide to reflect on Abyssus being a boss killing helmet for Atziri/Shaper. Most of us not wearing mirror-tier gear will get annihilated by bosses like the Guardians, or multi-phase fights that can burn our flasks and leave us vulnerable, such as Malachai. I only use mine for the Shaper, for example.
