Should PvP'ers Beta-Test?
A few of my PvP comrades have been running beta in order to offer pre-3.0 input toward GGG - in the hopes of influencing the next meta, with regard to its impact on PvP.
However, is it really worth investing (for many) real world currency, or others, simply, their time, to possibly give sufficient beta feedback to GGG in order to influence the next PvP meta for 3.0? Or is 3.0 a lost cause and we just have to wait and "hope for the best?" Or is the XBOX 3.0 a complete lost cause with regard to PvP? Is it even remotely possible they'll allow Xbox'ers to fight PC'ers in PvP? Thoughts? Last bumped on Jul 21, 2017, 12:58:43 AM

i play beta, if you have questions, you may ask
"You have great power. You're right to be proud. It's unfortunate you have to die now, but I will honor you with 45% of my strength."

" Can you answer any of the like 5 questions he asked or implied he is asking in the OP? I Stream PvP Twitch.tv/GrindcoreTHRALL

those questions aren't directing anywhere.
these are questions like asking a classical composer, why did you choose to make music? the question looks like deep, but in fact there is nothing to talk about it. how is the meta going to be? who knows. nobody can foresee meta before it happens, there are super computers with crazy amount of petaflops, they can barely predict whats the weather gonna be like tomorrow, they cant predict stock exchange market results for example. meta is a result of cumulative brain work of thousands of players. thats why balance in every games suck so hard. 50 devs cant handle 100.000+ players' cumulative brain activity focused on finding something broken and exploiting it. i have my predictions though with my 0.00000000...1 petaflop brain. every multi hitting skill is forced to reduce their crit chance to 25-30% due to soul of solaris. Spellcpsters dont use crit since long time anyway, flameblasters, fireballers, magma orb... crit is not the meta now, and in 3.0 its gonna be even worse. brutality is a very interesting gem, people will try it. 60% more phys damage is big. Ruthless gem, if its gonna stay like that will make melee players focus on attack speed even more. and its a fucking OP gem. melee players gonna enjoy that for sure. it also grants fixed duration stun, phew, it might be a big thing. it grants 115% more melee damage multiplier, 30% chance to occur. 0.8 seconds of stun without quality. some people might make builds centered around one shotting rangers & offscreeners. 115% more damage with mirrored weapons and new gems is like 6k life one shot probably. Qotf buffed, from 340 movespeed, my movespeed become 382 at 3.0. it grants 3005 evasion now when it has 380% roll. every evasion items base eva got buffed, the existing rolls will remain same, all your evasion items are going to be legacy. chance to bleed gem offers added phys #-#, Doomfletch gonna be probaly stronger than brood twine in 3.0. there was just 15% difference anyway. critical multipliers generally reduced at tree. heartseeker from 40 to 30, assasination from 45 to 35. etc etc. Maim support is really strong, forces people to get really fast or get punished for being slow. (it "cripples" the target) its a more melee damage gem (35% i guess) and enemies take % increased phys damage, which is actually works like final/outer increased damage modifier which can be called as "more" damage multiplier. overdone, for sure. melee was lucking "more" damage gems for phys builds. they have it now. shields are OP now. poecraft.com - check for more details. crit / GS jewels / frost wall fixed, melee got buffed big time. Tank builds gonna be really OP in 3.0 i think. New Cancer. i dont know anything about X-Box. i played only RT melee builds in beta, so my view is limited. thats why i said, if you have questions something i wanna do, or test, tell me. "You have great power. You're right to be proud. It's unfortunate you have to die now, but I will honor you with 45% of my strength." Last edited by Rupenus on Jul 19, 2017, 5:05:52 AM

" Not sur what you meant by that, modification to values of base items are updated along the game. Did they reduced the eva rolls to compensate for the base buff ? Also I have beta access but didn't pay anything (on top of my supports packs of course). Last edited by IceDeal on Jul 19, 2017, 7:09:56 AM

There's a pvp beta test server btw, though it was probably long time before most people here started to pvp. I could also give away my beta to someone, gave away 1 key already.
Edit: nvm can't give away the one you get from meeting a threshold, it's bound to the account It's hard to remember what you have forgotten ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Why are police looking for missing people? None of them were missing last time I saw them Last edited by Tommie_Sjukskriven on Jul 19, 2017, 9:39:09 AM

" If you mean the separation by difficulty, I remember that the arena in act 8 had a level cap of 60. IGN: Márkusz
