The Most Important Player in PoE PvP

Forget PvP guild leaders, forget the US/EU top 20 (even though there has been times ze was in the top 20), forget the HLD Porn usual suspects – the most important player in PoE PvP is:

Evilist.

Now before you Brahmins release the hounds upon my Untouchables, hear me out...

From a purely anecdotal perspective, when I first started PvP – Evilist was the first opponent who didn’t shit on my 2h Sword Heavy-Strike.

Evilist routinely organizes 2v2 and 2v1 PvP matches just for shits and giggles. In fact, ze’s one of the few players I know who’ll just challenge anyone randomly despite their OP build.

Evilist is chameleon of builds… constantly deleting their characters and re-building them from scratch – maybe not all of them are forum worthy, but they’re entirely Evilist in nature… there’s many an OP build who’s read the words “- has been killed by Evilist” in Sarn (and often enough in 1v1) while Evilist is running around in a Tabula Rasa.

But more than anything, when it comes to 1v1, Sarn, PvP centered guilds, the PvP scene in general, there’s no one more ubiquitous than Evilist.

Evilist has been a member of various and prominent PvP guilds, linking people who’d normally have little or no contact with each other.

Evilist is like the Kevin Bacon of PvP.

Most of the top PvPers know of each other – but don’t really communicate outside forum dick-measuring contests… or rather, they don’t really know each other; however, I can say with confidence, they probably know Evilist.

And Evilist is a genuinely nice guy. I’ve never read a ill word about anyone from him -

Evilist asks questions with genuine interest because ze really enjoys theory-crafting PvP… outside just increasing prestige and purse.

And strangely enough, if more people were like Evilist, PvP would probably be a healthier, more inclusive community – with a far larger populace and fewer trolls.

Myself being associated to a lesbian hentai villain is honestly hard to put into words.

However.

Some people like it rough. So it makes you wonder who actually won when the credits roll by.

Evilist took notice of me back when I played my EuphoricHorse witch as a doryani's fist punch/reflect witch.

Now whatever character I'm on, I'll sometimes get random PMs tell me I'm cute. This has literally been going for 2+ years by now. I'm apparently the cutest witch.
