always though limiting GS to 10 was the best of all compromise.
I found using half GS + half rare jewels was a nice budget caster build without going crit and op gear,


It is a good move from GGG anyway will force people to theory craft (I love theory craft lol), I just hope they will nerf projectile max distance too.

The reason hot, cwc and cwdt builds deal absurd damage is mostly because of their horrible interaction with the pvp dmg formula (combined with hot being unavoidable damage on top). They are still broken as fuck. Nerfing gs jewels affects these builds less than most seem to think.

indeed if i remember your first HOT build was not using GS at all and could still kill most under 8k life users with just a 4l.

Making/stalking for your own jewels should be part of gearing. Not buy 20 unique and you're gitgud

Anything that promotes build making into flow chart is horrible for the future of this game and relieved see at least someone on the dev side agrees.

it wasnt hitting that hard but HoT gonna be still viable without being too broken in the hands of people who know how to scale damage outside of spamming one gem all around the tree. i personally think that people wont bother with HoT anymore though.

this GS nerf wont hit CWC, CWDT builds as hard as it hit hard to HoT builds of course. the CWC builds just have to find other ways of scaling damage, shouldnt be hard. scaling spell damage is easier than one kind of elemental damage type.

GS as an idea, is really cool, but its interaction with broken T values for pvp was really lethal for both player experiecne and balance.
