PVP has so much potential, but I can't blame anyone for the aforementioned outlook. The game itself, pve/pvp included, is such a shit-show atm that you get punished for being creative and not going the cookie-cutter pen/projectile/aoe overlap route.

But no, in what's largely seriousness, I do think Leo having mods that attract PVE players is a huge mistake, since it just drags in a bunch of people who have no interest in being there, and they even sometimes get all pissy about PVP in general, thinking that PVP is what turns game communities into toxic cesspools of shitheads. As for everything else Ahfack said in the second paragraph, I couldn't agree more. Creativity is not POE's big thing now, it's just watching some douchebag streamer and copying their build, or going Pathfinder and using some "amputee build". Channeled Mulla there.

I would like to share how lucky i was yesterday.

Mulla decided to enter the Arena and show his professional touch to all of us. Arena was 4 people, me who was afk chatting on local and 2 es regen tanks and killara.

But those things are the only reason I joined pvp to begin with. I get that opening things to a wider audience generally means making the thing so shit it's not worth having but surely there's another way then ruining the luxury suite and cool guy toys.

You guys should try the other side of this we were discussing, like pvp support packs. We'd get an influx of pve folks with smug smirks telling us pvp is their thing now and we'd get to keep what really matters close to our hearts.

Ya GGG can't do the pvp supporter packs right now because they can't even release their game updates on time.

Hoping for some nice pvp changes in 3.0, but I'm not holding my breath. If changes don't come in 3.0 then it's time to stick a fork in it

Not counting when Bondisk comes back from army duty the last match I did was in August. So almost a year? Is that good enough?

I wasn't insinuating that it would be time for me to quit. I was saying once 3.0 rolls around that's it; Whatever changes they make/don't make will be how it plays out until the servers croak.

I think these times before a big release is the lowest chance of any PvP change, and after 3.0 they might have more time to do other stuff.

Last I spoke with Chris he told me they are aiming for some PVP changes during the 3.0 release since the Xbox version will be 3.0 and support PVP.
