Why wouldn't you use melee phys over faster attacks? As far as flasks go, taste and lions roar are too good not to carry, and you really don't need a QS, so I would look at Wise Oak, Taste, Atziri's/Lions (situational).

To the people complaining about mana that follow this tree, you pass the duelist leech wheel, but with the Soul Raker node, you really shouldn't need anything past that.

Edit:
Reworked your tree a bit: http://poeurl.com/bi0z
Melee phys over faster attacks for starters, a halfway decent ammy with flat phys and crit multi is gonna be a lot easier (and better in most cases) to get your hands on than a deep one talisman that isn't garbage.

Thank you, I have not been spending to much time on Frostblades atm so im a little behind on gear updates.
Wouldn't melee phys only scale the initial hit and not the projectiles? Faster Attacks would increase DPS on both.
On mobile so I'll have to post the exact numbers when I get back, but the difference in damage between mpd and fa is considerable, and the damage you scale naturally is enough for the projectiles. Faster attacks simply isn't worth it.

Edit: The projectiles scale off your melee damage as well.

Hey SideFX

I was wondering regarding the fight for survival nodes, where do we put the other one? The first one is above the Herbalisim. (Since its the only node where there is 40 dex within range to activate the penetration ability.)

Where do I put the second? I tried each of the other socket that were unlocked in the build and it doesn't have enough dex in range. Unless I use points in 2 of the dex nodes im not gonna use and are not in any path that were taking.

Im at the point where its really starting to show, since I cant get the 40 dex within the range, it only gives me the cold damage and not the penetration. :X Any help would be great!

Wiki wasn't totally clear about that. If MPD does scale the projectile damage then I'd say it's definitely worth it, but I think Faster Attacks could also be a nice boost to survivability for a build that gets a lot out of Life Gain on Hit. I'd put it in that last link instead of Increased Crit Damage/Fortify and put Fortify on Whirling Blades. Increased Crit Damage seems like a more solid choice if we were running this build as an Assassin or Inquisitor, but for Raider I'd think higher base damage would be a better choice.

The lgoh from the claw implicit really isn't even comparable to the leech you have and fortify should be on WB anyways.

As a raider using a high aps claw you're not hurting for attack speed, and while technically faster attacks scales the projectiles slightly better, the net gain in damage from mpd is simply much better.
So, after following this guide so far, I've pretty much hit a wall in The Harvest. I seem to do to little damage and die way too fast, often in what feels like 1.2 hits to the three organ bosses. Is it to be expected that the end of normal is such a challenge?

Tbh I am still quite a noob though, but the other char I took through the game never ran into such walls. What could I do to help with this? Thanks for the guide though, I just love playing Frost Blades :)

EDIT: I'm also not quire sure what to look for in weapons at this stage of the game. How does physical damage scale Frost Blades without the high level of conversion I will have later in the game?

Act4 is a big jump in difficulty, and the organ bosses hit harder than anything up to that point. And if you have mostly played spellcaster chars before, you may not be as used to be reliant on weapon damage.
Ewar's Mirage should be fine for levelling all the way to maps though if you aren't using (I used it as an endgame weapon, before the frostblade buffs last league). Just don't take claw nodes until later. Or buy a decent rare claw.

Can't see your character as your tab is private, but you may be a bit short on life if you are dying that easily (Though I normally level with very little, with a half decent weapon you should be melting the bosses)
I've set the char tab to public... and yes, good point. I've played a firestorm witch with tanky zombies and found that very easy.

EDIT: Yeah, my resists are bad and only Maligaro proved to be a real problem of the three, cold resist and all that.

EDIT2: So, after more deaths than I am comfortable with I made it. Turned out that Malachai wasn't so bad, but Maligaro really kicked my butt.
