Well, ultimately, this guide lacks realism.
Frostblades Raider is a nice speed build for low tier maps (T10-12). It is no way "all content" with realistic league gear. Plus there are some non-optimal setups in the guide, people need to use PoB on their own to check for the best damage links for example. To those who still ask about cold pen. Short answer: No, it's never good. Check your own PoB if you don't believe me. With my gear it's the 8th best support gem vs shaper and other bosses and the 10th best support gem vs regular mobs. The only thing it has over other gems is that it applies to both the melee and the projectile part of the skill. Some of the better gems only enhance the melee part. | |

Been using this guide as a farmer with bisco & 1 ventor. started running racecourse then switched to spider forest (both T11). The damage is fine. My main problem is I allways get ONE SHOT(!!) to a random reflect mob... It's starting to drive me mad... Maybe the problem is abyssus ezomyte burgonet ? I take 42% increased physical damage taken... Don't know much how all this works but with the multistrike and can not evade the reflect mobs... when I see them ok fine, i can skip them but otherwise... dead. In breaches ? they don't even get inside the breach that I die... Any way to do something with this ? Thx for reading :) | |
" While I don't like Abyssus (got killed by Shaper's default attack with that, lol), it's not the reason, you die to reflect. Your damage is 100% cold (unless you did something wrong), therefore the reflected damage is pure cold as well. Aside from the obvious minor Pantheon and Primeval Force, you could carry a regular Sapphire Flask to incrase your max cold res vs a single reflect mob. I haven't noticed a single reflect mob from 92 to 93 though. Either there was none (no idea about the odds) or they just died without me noticing them. Most of that lvl was done in Spider Forest. | |

You should really update the POB - so many bullshit options toggled that erroneously drive the DPS to insane and unreachable levels. E.g. intimidated but no belt of deceiver, mirror quality gear (5-6 T1s? Why?)

If someone wants to follow this, use my tree, i play only one build per league, i stopped playing like 1.5 month ago, but still. I used two rings i bought on level 50 till almost the end, this build is quite good for t14 or abyss even, not mentioning spider forest, but you need to get to lvl 93 and have life almost on every peace. So 6L belly is the main point - you need that life when you're lower than 90. And that's fuckton of currency. Also, at the start of the league claws were like 2 ex each. And you need to have your survavibility up by iron reflexes and kaom's roots. And flasks that is upping your armor/evasion (which is converted to armor). Also starkonja is the only option (as it have +life, opposing to rat's nest, for example), as with + phys dmg from abysses you will be killed 100%. Also i suggest to use 2 points (kill all), not Alira. It will be easier to get lvls. And resistances aren't much issue. I was going to reroll but stopped playing, cause this league is shit comparing to last.
Still this build is worse than voltaxic last league (you could see the gear, i don't see anything after league ends). This build is good with bisco, i'd say it is must have. I don't even think there's point of using it without - faster clear speed - more drops. Tho i didn't get ANY exalt drop this league. Also spider forest didn't give me any doctors. So one of the reasons were to try headhunter, but seems i'm not that good in farming. I play only two leagues seriosly, but can gather char's gear + 15-20 ex only. | |

Used this for fun last couple lagues. Takes a minute to take off but after min maxing and fun Ba boom shatter ! thanks for insight still tweaking it for the luls!
