" Neither will work as advertised for 25ex (Watcher's is at least 100), but Zzang's is much cheaper and more bang for the buck. As you can see, the gloves advertised by Ahfack are alone at least 100ex for similar but worse stats, let alone a -20RDOT shield. Realistically you're looking at a mirror each for the caliber of shield and gloves in this guide. |

" Sorry mate, but you seem to be a bit misinformed: - Relevant Watcher's eye (%ES regen) start at 3ex in Beastiary and 20 in std. So nowhere near 100ex. - Ahfack uses GG gloves, but you don't need to. The important stat here is the 30% more DoT, which can be crafted with a single essence. After that just master craft ES. - Again with the shield. You don't NEED to get as high rolls as Ahfack. Looking at 400ES with legacy 20% DoT there's one for 6ex in STD atm. 20% is not possible in league ofc. There you craft a +2 max fire res shield with master craft 5% reduced DoT, or just use cheap RotP. I'd actually say this build is viable in league for 25ex. Hi,
what do I miss? I took the 'reduced Mana Reservation' nodes from Influence, Leadership and Sovereignty, and also have 20% reduced Purity of Ice helmet enchanment, but still not get the third Purity running. Do I need more mana? Thought the whole thing is based on percentage!? (Discipline and Clarity are running with Blood Magic, without Empower) Any advice appreciated. Edit: OK, it is the Enlighten gem. " Watchers: I'm looking at POEtrade now (in standard, as I play standard) and have been for several days...for %ES regen and % mana as ES (that which OP advertised) is currently 750ex, 3 mirrors, and 2500ex as the three listings. Cheapest I've seen over the week has been 350ex. So...yeah, if you're playing Beast, sure its relatively less expensive. But wealth is also much harder to accumulate there. I appreciate the explanation on the gloves and shield, but its dangerous. If you're dumping TONS of currency into a finely balanced build, it's sketch to start getting "worse" gear that leaves off certain recommended stats. How much would it suck to throw 100ex at the build (in beast) only to realize you can't fully sustain RF for one reason or another? But I do see your point - I was only answering his question based fully off the guide and that which is recommended therein. " It's more accessible than ever. Re: Jewel/cost. Dude those jewels aren't necessary - I don't even own one. And I haven't updated a lot of this thread yet. BiS isn't even 2.5% regen anymore it's es recovery. Gives me more per second regen. Just doesn't show up on character sheet in game cuz GGG is retarded. This is the one I bought in standard for 20ex: I liked the clarity mana cost mod so I paid a bit more. However, all that matters most is the es recovery rate mod. There is one in standard for 8ex right now: http://poe.trade/search/ukahiwomkusiki In league they are 1.5ex which is insanely cheap for the amount of regen they provide for the build. http://poe.trade/search/asarinimkikori Of course all my gear is expensive, I say it up front that this is made in standard with GG gear but you can still do all content with a more budget version. Says it in guide and in the video guide. Very beginning of both. A well rolled +2max fire res/5rdot shield is only 127es p/s regen less than my 500es/20rdot legacy shield. Keep in mind this is without buffs - just standing in hideout. 20% es recovery on a belt gives me 257es p/s 30%es recovery from a 1ex jewel gives me 555es p/s That's over 800es p/s regen with just 50% es recovery mods from 3ex investment. Can chaos spam your own shaped crystal for cheaper than an ex or two and get that mod. Could even alt/regal for cheaper than half an ex I bet. While you might complain that my shield is legacy and all that, when I made this build over a year ago, neither of those es% recovery items existed. Now, it's possible to achieve 680es~ regen p/s MORE in league than I could in standard back then. RF is a great build and I prefer the LL pure ES variation. " I've leveled this build, and previously played Ahfacks build. Difference is amazing. Ahfacks in general better in all cases. Let me explaing: 1. I can't sustaing positive net life regen on this build. But with Ahfacks its easy. 2. Damage is a bit jewel dependent. 3. 9k es vs 12k es with Ahfack All this done in leagues, not in standard. I can give you a really good piece of advice: load your char in pob with your gear and compare trees of this builds(swapping mandatory items) - you will got whole picture. I was only basing my original answer off my own attempts to copy your build and the shopping I'd done in preparation for that over 2-3 weeks. I really respect and appreciate the work you did with this - I certainly couldn't put something like this guide together myself - so I never intended to be some contrarian ranting about how it doesn't work. That isn't my opinion at all...to the extent I'm having problems (I am, with the degen of ES) I'm sure it's my own issue and not the fault of your info or advice. |

You're cool man. Don't want to sound bitchy at you or whatever, but I'm just trying to break it all down factually. Lots of haters out there that don't bother thinking/reading and just see GG gear and go, "Standard! Legacy gear! Build not viable!" lol. I admit I might be a bit quick to tell people like that to fuck off sometimes, but just know that that was also not my intention with trying to keep it factual.
