So when we get inpulsa we should switch those gems around and take off Cotb and take off Herald of ice? And I guess replace it with herald of thunder? Is that correct? If so is there anything else I should do?

Well from the feedback I get it is maybe better to stick with HoI and Cotb because the clearspeed is just better. I will test it when I reached lvl 90 and better gear. For now I would recommend to just stick with your current setup.

Should I use choir of the storm still with cotb for now?

I just specced out of elemental overload now I have some crit nodes. Wow damage with Spark is amazing now, it keeps getting better :)

Now I need to start looking for high link gear so I can replace my Tabula and get resists and survivability for when I reach maps soon. And look for mana leech gloves so I can grab MoM.

The clearspeed is definitelly better with the Inpulsa and HoT with no CotB, it's just not as satisfying as seeing monster shatter.

I tried both builds, currently sticking to full lightning - my character is public, if you wanna see.

I think Choirs is still BiS for dps and especially single target. If you need more survivability get a rare with high lif, res and crit multi.

Looks pretty decent... I noticed a few things...
1) get a abyss jewel with onslaught on kill
2) a good rolled quicksilver flask would also increase your clear speed by a lot
3) before you proc your vaal skills in a bossfight cast you golem to proc arcane surge for extra dps

Corrupt is super cheap and an insane value.


I may post some vids of my build but I may just make a new thread as I don't want to confuse people with another build variation (though overall it would be similar to the HoI / CotB variant).

I'm new to this build and am trying to understand all the mechanics as I am moving to full lightning damage. I have picked up two which has brought my shock chance to 16%. It feels like a great buff to clear speed. Curious if anyone has tried this.

Can you guys check out my char “CromiSparks” and tell me ways to improve it. I think I’m doing alright but I could use some help whenever you get a chance.
