It is pretty heartbreaking to watch that POV vs bear trap, I gotta be honest lol


If it was like jorge's or firebitch's POV, you'd see next to no trap deaths.

I think you need to bring a sweeping skill.

Lol yea, I tried using mirror arrow for a sweep but it has too long of a CD. Bear traps rek me :(

throw bear traps over bear traps to make them triggered. even though they have clever construction, it doesnt matter cause opponents bear traps just get activated to kill 1 health bear traps you are throwing. this is the best way to deal with bear traps.

cluster traps + trap cooldown + bear trap, 3l

That was a pretty good match :D


I thought that match was complete trash. The team composition was hardly balanced. It was extremely probable that your team was going to win.

Jorge and I were too risky as flagrunners because if we died (very easy against 3 decent attackers like Fire, Shin, and Lemon), the defense would be undermanned against CI Lemon (Firebitch being an ineffective deterrent) and Shin (tanky). Every time we ended up dying, you guys ran a flag. Simple.

Firebitch's role in that matchup was "mild deterrent to FireTarpin's unchecked advances into our spawn point" and flagrunner. In the latter role, he was completely outclassed, as he can't outrun the bear traps, and SRS minions can't take the hits for him. Thus, we couldn't mount a proper offense. Firebitch's movement speed and Jorge's movement speed (with the flag, he's fine if he's warping) are limited such that even if we aced your team, we wouldn't be able to pull out fast enough to avoid retaliation.

In addition, we couldn't properly pursue any flagbearers. Not only are Shin and Lemon fast enough to evade mines and Firestorms (perhaps not flameblasts), but FireTarpin's backup ensured that any pursuers would be either killed or extremely slowed down by sweeping for traps. If I had a drink every time I heard the bear jaws of doom sever the hopes and dreams of a losing team, I would be very, very liverfailured because there's a reason you are on the top of the 3v3 CTF leaderboard. Thus, we couldn't mount an effective defense either.

The only way we could have won that match is if you guys were AFK.

In other words: Yes. That was a good match for you. That wasn't a good match for us.

Yikes.

Personally what put it over the top was having shin on my team I think. Because firebitch/jorge slowly making their way in and sweeping is pretty hard to deal me on my end.

Anyway we havent had proper CTF in like 3-4 days. Hopefully we can play some more tonight.
