Not damage amount is a problem but the way it applied.

Bear trap w/o Hair Trigger - fair (annoying) easily avoidable skill.
EA w/o 120% AoE 9 projectiles wallspam - fair ignite-based build. just like BA.
HoT w/o worms - strong temporary buff.

Secondary damage concept is fine, but skills or mechanics that require 'no skill' to apply literally unavoidable damage are a problem.

We don't need yet another Inevitable Judgement -like pvp balance patch.

right way to fix secondary damage - limit Hair Trigger to 1, remove AoE overlap, make worms ailment-immune.

I don't think that the dmg is currently the issue. Im a EA player and some mechanic are just way to retarded like EA secondary DMG don't need to say more about it. But i think that overlap is fine tho cuz EA is not the only build using it, thats also why ithink that ele pen is fine. Every build need some op stuff to make it shine.

EA has been "shining" for far too long. The overlap it has is the reason it's some cheap dime-a-dozen skill that, for the longest time, every Libertania wannabe would spec into so they could ride the easy train to victory.

As for what that other guy said, I agree as well. I think it should be adjusted a it, but still bypass block and dodge, mainly because I dislike block.

No writhing jar in pvp and no AoE overlap is definitely a step in the right direction. Although secondary damages are still way too high, I think those 2 changed would help substantially. HoT should also be blockable/dodgeable. EA can stay unblockable/undodgeable since the shotgunning would be nixed.

I almost feel like the jar should damage you on use or something, or at least make their level equal to yours or some shit. Just so they aren't easy to one-shot. Seems almost unfair to entirely disable an item.

As far as EA's secondary damage is concerned, it's kinda okay on its own, but the overlaps are the main source of pain, really.

You don't want to increase the worms' health trust me. It wouldn't do much with HoT builds, but it would skyrocket BV+HoI/cwdt builds' proc rate and flask recharge rate. Even self damaging would be broken because of insane cwdt procs, and heal could be solved by leech. The only solution would be disabling effects imo, either the whole flask in pvp, or the onkill active skill procs.
