Update on my current gear. Thoughts or suggestions are appreciated...

So I've been blessed with both a very nice harby and an ok leg reach I recently found, I have however begun wondering at what point a harby surpasses a reach.

Based on my calculations my current harby wins out without much of a problem against this new find, but lets assume we're comparing my harby to a top-end rolled reach. All i can determine from PoB is that they're somewhat equal.

Has someone else already calculated this in depth to save me the trouble? And if so would it be wiser to just get a top-end reach instead of my current harby?

Cheers

Honestly, it depends on your setup. Only you can plug them into your PoB to determine which is more effective. I can plug your bows into my PoB and run the calcs but it may not match your results.

I had the same problem with a good har vs a Lioneye's Grabe. In efecctive DPS, the last one "won", but that was by the mod "Hit's can't be evaded. But when i compared my another bow, i see my skill damage is higher than Lioneye'grabe. I Think your problem is coz the reach mob have "4 aditional arrows" and to PoB, is more effective than a rare bow (even is mirrored)

Well since you have a pretty legit roll!
I think a good comparison would be how does my harby hold up against your reach in raw numbers on barrage for instance?
We shant however forget crit multi as an important variable in conjunction with the crit we're scaling. I did plug in an imaginary reach in my PoB but my results are inconclusive. Comes down to crit mult/crit and gem setups.

+1 power charge is about 8% more dmg on my windripper 9,9%base crit

with that 6% base crit is probably about 5% more dmg, with 7,9%crit with crit gem probably 6,5% more dmg or so

personally i'd prefer a more always consistent damage with low crit and high base dmg than low base dmg and high crit/chance multi, the 30-40% reduced dmg taken from crits is an huge handicap especially when there are 3 or more mods that nerf your damage
