Elite tree?

There is one for legacy vinktar and other one for ppl without.
Since legacy vinktar gives instra leech u drop vaal pact then.

Can someone experienced help me with optimal use of my budget? 85 +/- EX

I rather go for Skyforths and gather for a better bow later, that would safe the time for later since there will be no need to change the resists with just bow change.

so

Skyforths: 40 EX
800 ES Regalia: 7-10 EX depends what resists

should i got for barrage helmet or focus on better jewelry ? what gonna net more dps

what with bow? Death Opus or rare Harb 380~ pDPS

i think going 1st for skyforth is good option, the main reason is it opens up a flask slot..

i recorded a 2nd video to showcase something.. this time i added some dmg mods for the boss, nothing scary 35% incr.damage, 30% attack speed.. -10 max res..and..

https://youtu.be/L9FUkBB55wM

(next he died after 3 sec but i didn't record it, no point)

so... conclusions:

1. even if you have increased critical in your frenzy and power charge on critical you can always loose your power charges.

2. i strongly suggest to have a defensive flask when you plan your build.. taste of hate or basalt.. and at least 8k es..

personally i like this build but i think it has a limit to how much hard mods can run in a reasonable budget.. maybe because i played before a 3-curse whispering ice build that was rly tanky.. :)

I will tell you what I'm currently focusing on in Legacy SC league with a much smaller budget. Skyforths is not my concern.

1) Dying Sun- 4-5ex
2) Corrupted Signal Fire w/extra arrow - 15ex
3) ilvl 84 Hubris with +2 arrow barrage - 9ex

Beyond that I think you would want:
Pen Vinktar
6L Death's Opus
6L 800+es chest
Decent Jewelry and Jewels.
Brinerot boots

.. With spending your currency on these items instead of skyforth you will do more damage. Skyforth should be one of the last items on your shopping list as jaws of agony weapon swap is a great alternative for getting power charges before a boss fight. But hey, to each their own :)

you have to do the math, calculate how much +%dps is +1 arrow, open path of building, craft gg jewels and get an approximate number of your final dps.

you have to do the math alone becuse we dont have the gear you have, and dps test with different setups.

also even though we can guess and say which is better, there might be moments where you neeed to use some basic math equations.

also one last note: people miss how much dps an amulet can add.

i'm giving the best amulet in game as example;(vengeance collar)
it gives around +36% dps to my build. please take a second to realize what huge amount of dps that is:
and people focusing on skyforth instead of 38 multi, 38 chance, 15- 26 phys, 350 accuracy, 36wed, 20% ES amulet, i find it a bit sad. (of course the amulet i've given as an example is totally perfect in leagues, but having an amulet which has 4 or 5 of those mods are gg enough)
"You have great power. You're right to be proud. It's unfortunate you have to die now, but I will honor you with 45% of my strength."

Here are a few vids I recorded to show league capability this afternoon. I will try to find/borrow a deaths opus to show that later tonight.

yeah thanks but as i said with u crazy gear even white bow gonna kill stuff :D

So Rupenus advises to drop Skyforths and focus on other pieces first, i would like to know more ppls opinion before shoping so what would u advise Deadmaux, blasting_cap or someone who is already experienced with it enough?

I want to chose the best way for the build to shine and the best option for nice and smooth gameplay and boss fights + easier upgrade time in future, going rare boots gonna mean fighting with resistanes after Skyforths switch...but if that means getting like 2 times more dps without it or so it gonna be worth it

i got the Dying Sun and Pen Vinktar from pervious build

So these are older video from Shaper and Uber earlier this league.

Ignore gems ofc, was just chaining some maps with friends and releveling some gems that didn't do so well with Corruptions.

======================================================================

Skyforths definitely not necessary but also just very nice for QOL in general. I did like 93 levels without one so you can definitely farm whatever you want without.

About what to get I would say if you already got enough currency, and 85 ex is definitely gonna be enough, then go for the whole deal. Skyforth purchase leave you with like 45 ex to play with...

I checked the market for chests, you can get a chest 800 ES 6L with 2 decent resist for 8-10 ex.

6L Death's Opus 4 ex.

With 32 ex left I would invest in Jewelry that you need and +2 Barrage helm, that's where the real expense is now as the cheapest 84 Hubris currently online is 9 ex. Get the helm first, Chaos Spam, and build your Jewelry around it. I don't know if you'll have enough left for a +1 Signal Fire if you spend remaining budget on Jewels, the market is pretty expensive atm (like 2 ex a pop)

I am in agreement with Rup. The bulk of your damage in this build comes from the bow and accessories (rings ammy). Next I would definitely go after a +2 helm. Resist should generally not be an issue on pathfinder. I run with 30-50 res in Marc but it easily hits 84 with flasks up. 800ish es 6l chest shouldn't run you more than 8 ex or so. After that your biggest damage increases will come from good 3 stat jewels (4s are going to be quite costly) and a +1 signal fire. Only after all that would I consider skyforth. Power charge generation has a number of different options through items and skill gems to solve the lack of skyforth.

Thanks for posting the runs. Your gear is absolutely savage for league! And of course I approve of the passive tree :).

I'm also planning to post a Death's Opus run myself a little later to show what the build is capable of. Path of Building cannot be trusted to give precise dps numbers (it seems to significantly underreport the true dps), but from my calculations (which I'll post along with the league appropriate gear I'm using) Opus reaches around 3.3 million dps versus Shaper, and around 4.9 million dps versus Guardians. This means that most players can actually hold off on upgrading their bow and dump currency into good rings, amulet, jewels, and flasks and massacre all content. The build is still rather expensive, but doesn't require hundreds of exalts to trivialize content.

On a different note, as others have pointed out, Skyforth isn't critical to the build and should be viwed as more of a QoL upgrade. Against Guardians/Shaper you'll do more dps by generating Power Charges before the fights via the secondary weapon slot.

Incidentally, its possible to generate Power Charges this way:

It will take just over 4 seconds to generate all 4 power charges because of the Warcry cooldown, but at least the Power Charges are guaranteed compared to the Jaws of Agony approach (which sometimes annoyingly costs time and mana if you don't generate charges after a few tosses of mines). Additionally, there might be some weird situations in which the warcry can actually significantly boost damage if you use it among a lot of mobs before entering the boss fights. Would that be actually feasible? Probably not, but who knows.

im not afraid of Power Charges, stun avoidance is the problem + the need of juggling resists again after getting the Skyforths in later time. Also what would u chose for a stun immunity, probably Valyrium, i don't want to run Kiara i rather have sth that gonna have 100% uptime.

Also if i wait few days and try to sell res of my items i can get around 10 EX more

There is like month of the league so far so if the killing speed with Death Opus gonna be similar to Sarang 380 pDPS bow thats enough for me and i can always farm for a better bow (almoust 2 months of league left)

btw. a lot of ppl tells to chaos spam a helmet, i usually alt, regal, slam my helmets, is chaos spamming usually more efficient?
