[2.6] SignalShot™ CI Full Ele Conversion TS/Barrage / Shaper & Uber Deathless / with video!
Hi guys,
starting this build, playing in std, got a legacy ROTC but no skyforth. I can't decide myself to choose between pcoc or curse on hit / assassin's mark for pc generation. Is there a general way of choosing one or another ? I understand that for bosses generation can be a pain without pcoc. If using pcoc, what gem to remove and where (weapon or body armor) ? I was thinking of removing lmp to put pcoc instead (on the bow)? Thanks for your help Last edited by partyboy79 on Mar 25, 2017, 9:55:41 AM

I have a couple of questions..
First of all is it better to have legacy ROTC or 400~ pdps harbinger and if harbinger is it worth to pay around 40ex for it. Also if legacy ROTC should I still get the barrage enchant on the helm or get a more damage one instead?
" always +additional arrow. always. if 400 pdps bow of yours, has 9+ crit chance, probably yes. I can't assure you though, people say 420 pdps binger with 9 crit and 360 pdps reach is same in gg gear setup. just rumors, risk is yours. "You have great power. You're right to be proud. It's unfortunate you have to die now, but I will honor you with 45% of my strength."

Ive tried looking for an answer in this thread but couldnt find it.
I want to run power charge on crit on my LA because I cannot afford skyforge. But what gem should I sacrifice for it? Which one is the least beneficial? I have a 6l |

" Short answer: dont, sacrificing dps for power charge on crit function aint the answer. You can always run Curse on hi + Herald of Thunder + Assasins mark to keep power charges up trash packs For bosses i would have a 2 link orb of storm + power charge on crit setup All of this aint optimal but is the best way to not lose any dps links while praying to the nrg gods for a skyforth drop. Also on a side note, i found a very usefull tip from iceman on this thread. Drop valyrium for a dps ring and get a Kiara's flask for stun immunity.. as pathfinder is pretty easy to gain charges and keep this anti stun mechanic up all the time. What is everybodey else take on this tip? Valyrium vs Kiara's? |

" Not a rumor, it can be readily calculated at which point a Harbinger exceeeds the double legacy ROTC in dps. The calculations must take into consideration current gear though, beacuse the breakpoint keeps changing the better the gear.
" At a certain point the damage on your AoE skill won't matter anymore; at that point LA and Ice Shot will be superior to TS because of better offscreening potential and because you don't have to move your mouse cursor to where you want to TS shots to target. In fact you might end up replacing some of the regular links in LA and Ice Shot with stuff like Ice Bite and Innervate to boost movement speed and Barrage damage. The single target potential of TS is rather moot, since Barrage is significantly stronger. I would thus recommend always using LA or Ice Shot and never TS, *except* when fighting Shaper and Chimera. It's easier and smoother to kill the shaper and chimera adds with TS. You can always substitute LA and Chain with TS and Pierce for those fights.
I assume you can't use Hatred, Herald of Ice, and Discipline unless you have skyfourth. Even with lvl 4 enlighten I would only have enough mana for 1 cast of Barrage or TS. Is this correct?

can some1 here show me some of the jewel u guys use? im kinda confused about to get c.chance or c.multi
| |
" attack speed - projectile damage are best. when i'm picking jewels, i always pick the ones with attack speed, and i focus on proj damage - phys damage on tree. gg jewels offer really high APS, that you can have nowhere in passive tree. if you lack crit chance, of course i'ts good to focus on crit chance on jewels. with multi hitting skills - personal preferance, personal thoughts - i dont think, focusing on crit chance is the best choice. when you miss crit chance there are additional 9 arrows coming after it, one or another gonna crit. the average dps for 10 arrows and maximizing it is our main goal here i think. the average dps shown on tooltip is kinda what we are looking for here. that said, below 60% crit chance can be clunky. it's good to have higher than this low limit. also having less than 2300 accuracy may cause very hard situations vs late game bosses.
