So I read that its not really clear whether ROTC is a good bow anymore after nerf to 2 arrows so 5L ROTC is probably not a great option. ALso 6L is 10 ex which is basically my current budget. Again I am still leveling up but I wanna do uber atziri, guardians and shaper + uber lab so basically end game content but I dont know how powerfull this build is with 12 ex budget. thanks With 12 ex gonna be pretty rough to try to do T16 etc imo. So you think that its too little budget? so what do you think I should invest to? 6L bow and 5L armor? i can get away with around 7k CI on my current gear from my first char and thats having 550 es armor so if i can get 700+ which I can i will have enough to get 6L bow. the question is whether to get Opus or ROTC, what will give me more DPS and what I wont have to upgrade for T16 bosses. I am no good at gathering currencies and i have a build that (my 1.) that can farm up to T14 maps pretty easily so I can lvl up my archer and farm maps with the other while gathering more currency for better gear. So I am basically just now wondering about the BOW. I dont think i will get currency to get Sky's coz I am doing smth wrong and dont know how to generate currency. Furthermore, he's generating currency while playing. Don't assume he'll be in poverty for a long time. Players have been messaging me in game with like 10 chaos to their name one day, only to link me a Dying Sun the next day since they ended up doing some map farming or dried lake farming. I can farm shaped strand as well and sustain these but what earn you that much ? Unid chaos recipe + few lucky uniques ? Sell excessives maps ? I mean, I can sustain strands but for some reasons I don't have much map drops, my pool is always around ~15 strands, even going +20% quality, breach leaguestones + onslaught. If ur poor as fuck chain prophecies, they are better profit than most ppl realize. The easiest way to make currency at the beginning of league is to play alot on day 1-3 and farm stuff that people need, which also requires you to have decent game knowledge. Sustaining strands and stuff isn't too important, I would not chisel them if ur hurting for currency, but ultimately the best profit isn't gonna come from chaining strands if ur not a t1 clearspeed build. @DicemanX: I'm not saying it's bad advice, but its advice that's geared for more endgame. My preference has been TS Enchant anyways because I value the clear and the damage to bosses is already quite good. I focus more on fixing fundamental flaws because that basis is more important. Dying Sun augmenting a 4L LA in my eyes is not worth the investment for example, I tested a lot of budget setups prior to this league and so far with full time job and going out a few nights a week (AKA playing on a budget) I'd say my progression strat works -- fundamentals first. So sorry if you took offense to it. About Shaping I tend to stay away from Mud Geyser due to the boss... Just not friendly sometimes especially if you're just Alching for pack size and you get extra dmg mod, it's not worth to reroll. About Strands chaining in general, never found sustaining an issue. You get plenty of currency from just mapping and I just pick up valuable bases to sell. I do sell as much currency as I can, Regret, Fuse, Master Sextant. Early on in the league before I got off for the day I convert everything to Exalt so that the price inflation makes sure I don't lose out too much on value. If I get low or I have stones I wanna blow but not on Strands (for example I get a domination stone with +currency when touching a Shrine), I run Mesas quickly to fuel back up. Oh and I run Breach and Beyond plus any other valuable stone like Perandus, Nemesis, etc. Save Bloodlines for doing Atoll and higher. I don't really use the Onslaught one though. Beyond is great for extra loot, xp, and it's CI friendly. So basically I need an advice how to progress with items (i can even wait 2 - 3 days before i farm at least lvl 75/80 then buy but i wanna look out for good deals, dont think prices will go down on those anymore) Bow 6L: Opus - 150% crit chance, 190 pdps, around 8 ex ROTC - 260 pdps, around 9 ex, no additonal crit chance so whats better for mapping and possible for T16 bosses? In the video he did Shaper with 5L ROTC but i guess thats legacy and that is probably a big deal. What do you suggest? Armor: Do I need 6L right now or should I get high ES 4L one and then upgrade to 6L? I assume armor is basically to get 2 skills without swapping gems. I dont mind swapping for bosses that I need to swap gems for (I assume up until t9 i can kill those with tornado shot) So I can get 6L bow, high ES armor and items + vinktar (normal) and save up for dying sun and 6L armor? and one last thing... Tornado shot or Lighting arrow?
