Hi, I was wondering if there is any leveling version for this build?

I just got back to PoE recently and had a lot of reading to go through

Starting from nothing, you're gonna want to spec into Life first and as you accumulate better gear, respec into CI and ES nodes. This is not a cheap build, nor a starter build.

clever. thats what we think of using for budget variant, non-leg vinktar one. thats possibly the best idea.

nice an extra 10% more dmg compared to force of natur with the new ele nodes
duelist leech nodes are a waste now compared to claw nodes but i won't take them cause i must not have mana leech for mf flask reason

this build has no dps problem, our problem is establishing a good survivability and flask sustainability. that's why we don't make this build with raider.

can you elaborate on that? I made a comparison on the last page between raider and pathfinder and I don't see why it's survivability would be less.

Also, I asked why we use chain (instead of slower proj, fork, etc.) is it because our pierce chance is not high enough to justify it or some other reason?

I haven't build it out perfectly yet so excuse my ignorance.

sure. tbh i enjoy such questions. :)

first of all, this is a flask build.

what can you kill you while using signalshot?

1- reflect
2- getting out of vinktar charges in t16 boss rooms
3- getting stunned - stunlocked and cannot leech ES.
4- not able to do micromanagement

reasons:

1- Quality of life: Flask management

i dont know what others would do but in budget version i'd still go for master surgeon and x2 vinktars to be able to deal with bosses. 5 charges per second is still good and worth to invest on.

flask management in boss fights are really hard, i personally don't want to use anti shock flas next to my vinktars and dying sun as raider. whats gonna happen when you'll get out of anti shock flask charges? you can use mana flasks because they have a lot of charges per flask but vinktar gonna fill up your mana with each shot and the anti shock effect wont last long.

you'll get shocked on vinktar effect, you'll definitely get stunlocked if the boss attacks you while you are shocked, you gotta get max frenzy charges to be able to status ailments immune, this is really a high requirement and we dont have such luxury as an ES bow build. (or you'll look for a mob to kill instead of focusing on boss to proc your onslaught and get status ailments immune).

these are a lot of conditions that you should avoid(running out of anti shock flasks) and the requirement to have status ailment immunity for raider can be really hard to get. i dont want to carry the burden of this as paper - dps ES bow build.

is it worth for 10-15% more damage on tooltip? when vinktar isnt on, you die quick with this build. when you run out of charges you die too. if they nerf vinktar, we'll switch to non vinktar leech sources, then we can talk about Raider again. the dps would lower around 10-15%, thats all. (due to spending passives on leech nodes & paths)

"Enemies you Kill that are affected by Elemental Status Ailments
grant 100% increased Flask Charges"

we use ele focus so we cant inflict status ailments but while on vinktar effect we shock our surroundings and get 100% more flask charges on kill. all boss battles are in pattern of fight alone - kill some creeps - fight alone; while you are fighting alone you cant proc on kill affects like onslaught - while you are killing stupid mobs you wont be able to get much flask charges as pathfinder does as well. this is big minus.

Reason 2: Pathfinder tooltip dps is always misleading:

also as i always say, lets say you have 100k dps as raider, if you dont have any penetration only 60 out of 100k will deal damage to shaper. He has 40% all resists. 10% elemental penetration is like 15 to 10% more damage(according to your pen amount, the lower you have the better you get benefit from ele pen) on top of that.

"Gain 10% of Physical Damage as Extra Damage of a random Element", this is simply 10% more damage too, both 10% buff of 10% buff makes 21% more damage for pathfinder. whatever tooltip dps you see with pathfinder, you gotta add +20% to that to see your actual dps.

As raider your dps probably will start at 60% after frenzy chargees its gonna get 100%. on the "fight alone" phases in boss fights this is a problem. This build is all about killing things really quick, whateever dps you see on pathfinder tooltip, you have it there with you all the time but raider is more like "win more" character. you start with 60% of damage what pathfinder has, you get probably 110% at the end of the fight. when you do the integral calculation of such dps - time graphic, actually you have the same damage if you do the math for short durations. Raider is "win more" character as i said, the more you survive the better you get, but this build aims doing things / killing things. thats why Raider fits to melee more than ranged builds.

Load this in the new OFFLINE poe tree planner.

TLDR: It seems we've gotten decent damage buffs for "free" due to the tree changes. Also there's a trick with a specific jewel I might want to try in the near future. :x

We dodged another patch boys. Rejoice. Reach got destroyed (rip in council), death's opus the new "budget" oriented bow. With brief testing with old tree, it's hitting decent results.

This build is more than 2.6 viable, it literally will be stronger than it's ever been. Crazy.

Cheers!

Can someone put it in poeplanner.com please?

Btw i came up with this tree. Any opinions? It uses the Lioneye's Fall jewel near the shadow claw nodes as someone mentioned in this post.

EDIT: I think i just went full retard. Maybe this tree would be better? [deleted]

Yes I tested with death's opus on stream tonight. It performed quite well and IMO will be the new unique bow for this build. Reach of the council's nerf in 2.6 is too massive to justify it over Opus now.
