" Yeah, my dps is low compare to you guys, only 30k dps Barrage (unbuffed) and 100k tornado shot (full buffed), even vaal haste is not enought, I have all the lightning penetration that I can get (except on belt), and jewel is just average. Do I need to swith to Life leech gem? The only problem is that i ran out of flask, so I cant leech back the lost health (I play hybrid build though, not CI) | |

Here they are, i feel really awful when I just cant facetank Guardians cause they are pretty good gears except for the bow :D I used to have leech node on tree, but just respeced put of them when I got legacy vinktar, never have any problem with leech until now Last edited by H0X9 on Feb 18, 2017, 12:33:14 PM

" Why are you going hybrid? Why are you gemlinks way off? You're kind of doing your own thing and loosely basing it off this as a template which is fine. Yet you're having problems with guardians with gear that if you followed the OP correctly you'd be facerolling. May I suggest trying to adhere to the build post and see how it performs vs what you're on now? " You are right, this is a build I create myself before you write this guide, I used to play with Inquisitor though. At that time there are no Guardians/Shaper yet, so I dont have any problem with it. And the reason why I play hybrid is beacause hybrid gear is much cheaper than CI, and I actually enjoy the build when I can use lifeflask before I can get my hand on a leagcy vinktar, so I just keep playing that way and dont want to change to CI. My gem links is like that beacuse I use a legacy RotC so I lack crit chance, that extra blue slot is for Inc Critical chance gem instead of GMP, the other slot is just the same as your tornado shot link About it's performance, I admit it is worse than your, I just thought with all that gear I can do shaper just fine, and now i'm losing a few protal to be able to kill Hydra on a corrupted rare map. And about skill tree, the only different is that I didnt take Point Blank and Power Charge nodes cause I dont have I Skyforth, instead I use a Diamond flask and focus more on physical damage with bow and attack speed nodes

" The idea of taking advantage of the retch isn't bad at all, but ranger is just the wrong class and converting to anything else than lightning-damage as well. Without the ascendancy-node Endless Hunger of slayer it just won't perform very well and fire-conversion isn't very useful, too. Plus trying to make a regular crit-build without having a reliable source of power-charge-generation tick will effect your power against bosses like guardians a lot. But there is a solution for it... You should probably check out my the retch-guide: [2.5] [][][] Reaching the Retch [][][] BOW-Slayer. The orginal-build is not designed for hybrid, but actually i don't know why it should'nt work. " the problem is, you have tornado enchantment - the best one - but ROTC is hust a 360 pdps bow with no crit chance for Tornado Shot. nothing more. you say you use barrage at bosses, you have no enchantment for it. and only 4l. i' say, sell that ROTC, get yourself 400-410 pdps bow, use Tornado Shot only with signalfire. dont use LMP or GMP for maximizing damage. or sell that +2 TS enchantment, replace it with one +2 barrage enchantment. use slower projectiles since you have the colors for it instead of added fire damage in your barrage setup. your gear has no synergy at all in between, thats why you are underperforming compared to what you have.

" Tks, I like to use Tornado shot for bosses too, I know that bow is not the best, but I lack a couple of exalts to buy Glyph Mark. And for the ring, do you think I should get "added physical damage" or just craft "% ES"? I'm waiting for some jewellys to come from Breach too And what do you mean about synergy?
