Hey guys looking for tips on how I can improve my damage without using skyforth's build, thanks in advance!
Looking at your gear/tree I highly recommend the following:
- Vinktar's... This build is predicated on having one. Get one IMMEDIATELY. Pen version if possible.
- Gem levels, 20/20+ will make a large difference vs what you have currently.
- I Recommend taking ele focus out of your LA setup (less paper DPS but you'll be shattering enemies again. Porcupines for example)
- Your flask setup needs help. 2 Quicksilvers? Run a single Alchemist's Quicksilver of Adrenaline. This build exploits flasks, atziri's promise would even be nice for you for a chaos vs what you're using right now. Try and follow the flasks I use in original post.
- You have no boot enchant. Try and get the %Attack speed/cast speed one from uber lab. 16% from uber, 12% from merc. Nice free damage and snappier feeling gameplay.
- 4 prop jewels
- +2 barrage helm enchant would be a HUGE dps boost
- %energy shield on rings
I think if you follow those suggestions you'll be seeing a large DPS boost and a smoother feeling build with more survivability (vinktar leech for example). Good luck friend, let us know if you have anymore questions. Get a vinktar's!!!!!

I wouldn't recommend this build for a Solo Play on a temp league, its a VERY expensive build, and it scales very linearly, so you won't feel that it's a strong build, untill you have at least your Skyforth, a decent 5 link reach, dying sun, vinktar and a 6link chest, so thats easily 60ex.
One thing i have to say, is that this build is extremely strong with a full Support, i run any content like a breeze,
I run with Dying Sun - Vinktar and Taste of hate, so i get 91% all resists.
I dont need to use auras, so i use 3 heralds, plus arctic armor.
That together with a support Discipline with Empower, and high damage and leech, makes you pratically immortal.
Right now, i run all the content, even guardians, with double ventors gamble, plus a very high rarity amulet.
And my gear is nothing crazy.
Ps: I'm sitting around 20ex right now, not sure what really to invest, i guess i need a 6 link bow, but a decent harbinger its like 50-60ex.

How u manage to go up to 91% please because i sit to 84% with flask up. 75% base + 6% flask + all increases in flask effect from pathfinder (20%) +30% (alchemist passives) = 75 + 6*1.5 = 84%. From where u get other 7%?
Hey Blasting,
made it to lvl82 on BHC but am not quite satisfied with my occultist witch. The power charge generation can be a bit erratic, and my overall crit is at just 60% with a 8.2% base crit bow - too low for my taste even when using a diamond flask.
I'm considering swapping this gear over to a lvl85 BF assassin I have, in order to get more crit and damage. My gear is a bit of a mixed bag, some items are GG and more or less the best you can get on BHC (helmet, amulet, ring) while other stuff is just mediocre or plain bad. Yeah, ran out of money :P Mostly missing a Vinktar's and good bow at this point, dying sun is out of the question at 800c currently (so are Skyforth's obviously - hence the assassin).
Defenses are quite horrible but I am used to this kind of playstyle, so it works for me. Thinking about a CWDT temp chains/enfeeble curse maybe. I really want AA but can't even fit the herald of Ash in :(
I appreciate any input on where to go from here. Wanna see how this build scales into endgame but not sure I'm gonna make it xD

I said on the post, i play with a support, running purity of fire, ice and lightning.
I have not moved tree around yet since I am almost lvl'd then I will test yet was just asking since its mainly 5 points to get 2 power charges or 71% more physical damage up front and some chaos damage. I was thinking some of you may have played around with the tree a little yet I guess after I lvl I will go back and run some tests on guardians and all to see which way shines better xD.
On a side note do cart boxes even show up anymore I do not think I have seen one on upper maps in ages?
