Can someone answer me if I keep the build as ST Pathfinder will I be able to beat the guardians and Shaper eventually after the deployment of patch 2.5?

absolutely. the build really hasn't changed with 2.5 update from its original ST pathfinder variant.
the two guardians that are poison immune will just take a lot longer, as they will with any build that relies on poison, but you will be able to clear them

Is going Raider more viable now with its recent changes or is Pathfinder still the way to go?

I put together sort of a cheat sheet for tomorrows leveling. Any suggestions are very welcome.

Ascendancies - Way of the Poacher -> Avatar of the Slaughter -> Quartz Infusion (-> Avatar of the Veil)

The leveling assumes that I will get Snakebite immidiately at 56 so it's after that I start putting points into the poison/chaos nodes. Vaal pact can be taken earlier or not at all, depending. Mana leech nodes can be taken earlier or later if needed.

I'm new to the game, how do you guarantee getting snakebite at 58 in a new league?

Im actually just hoping to get lucky with trading haha... its a pretty low tier item anyway unless they changed it, so it shouldnt be too hard to get relatively early.

3 questions.
1) how are you generating endurance charges? self-cast enduring cry?
2) Veil instead of chase? Doesn't chase boosts evasion and therefore Dreamfeather scaling? I'm not sure and don't have raider lying around, so can't really test it.
3) Are you planning to use point blank gem? Point blank is very big part of this dps.

Raider doesn't really need FA gem, so we kinda can swap it for PB whenever we need it. Other than that seems perfectly reasonable. Maxing resists using 5 jewelry and helm slot should be enough.

You could just talent a little more resists on the tree, pick up snakebite and keep queen of the forest. At least as an intermediary between getting your Cospri's. There are 3 resist nodes 18 for each near the jewel by scion which the original spectral throw tree passed by anyways but instead talented projectile dmg on the other side. Or you could just get rare boots. Avatar of the chase + arrow dancing + kintsugi is also really powerful and if people are using blade flurry you could also use fortify because it's considered melee for your 6th link and like people said bladefurry doesn't really need a 6th link dmg wise.

1. xMustard claimed blade flurry to consistently stun, therefore end. charge on melee stun could be used if this is true. If not self cast enduring cry can be fit into one of the dreamfeathers easily.
2. You have a point but I do not have a way of testing this either. If you interpret the text literally it would mean that if you have 50% chance to dodge melee it would become 62,5% with Avatar of the Chase, without touching the evasion rating. Confirmation on this would be great from someone who could test.
3. No, my skill build is for Blade Flurry as discussed earlier so I will not be using point blank.

Yet again I made some changes to the tree. Keep in mind that this is for Blade Flurry with Queen of the Forest and not ST. (There should probably be a separate thread for this at this point)

Stats from poebuilder with mediocre rares, queen of the forest, atziri's step, snakebite and doedre's damning. Won't run doedre's until i have witchfire flask though so that makes it even easier to cap resists.


Notes about this compared to the old tree is it has 184% life instead of 167%, but less leech nodes and no VP. Also goes through Nullification up to Coldhearted Calculation for more evasion rating and some int for increased area of effect gem.

Honestly I have no idea what I'm doing really lol so dont take this skill tree too seriously, its probably possible to easily make this into a ST tree though

Ohh, sorry I was too lazy to read previous pages and assumed that you are planning to play ST. Got confirmation that avatar of the chase boosts dreamfeather damage. Finally read previous pages and xmustard's detailed post pretty much convinced me to make BF character.
