Hi. im looking at ngu's flame's advance. its supposed to give us physical to fire but path of building not showing any dps improvement. i want to ditch my awesome wand for doryani's catalyst and see some improvment from this passive node. Any insight appreciated.

we dont deal any physical damage and you can't convert damage over time anyways. not sure how it would help us :P

understood then. ty. seems its a passive we need to get to the next usefull passive :)

have another q. when using swift affliction and arcane surge they work together. I don't know why arcane surge will buff damage without being procced though. path of builder shows a signifigant damage increase but no sure why. so using swift affliction with arcane surge works according to the numbers. im just curious if not skeptical. ty for explaining

edit . we are referring to using swift affliction and arcane surge in the rf chain.

ok. arcane surge is duration and swift affliction supports duration. but why the increased damage from arcane surge if there is 0 mana spent?? :)
