PvP is now more healthy since 2.4, what's next ?

Patch 2.4 gave us some good hopes about pvp, things got toned down quite a bit and i'm glad GGG took the time to fix certain things.

Good nerfs : Inquisitor, vortex, remote/trap damage overtime, frostwall, cast on crit cooldown, blade vortex nerf, no more piecer %more modifier...

along with new counter uniques to deny crit...

Overall one of the best patch they did that affected pvp since a while.

Now i think it would be good if they give us new map layouts or atleast update them, we need more ctf areas and sarn arena could use more obstacles. Sarn arena is an offscreen playground and i think that needs to change, would it be possible to have more than 1 layout for arenas ?

I also think it's time to fix the aegis issue, without crit they are practically unkillable and it has become a problem just like before.

What do you think should be next ?

Yes! So happy with this patch, I even got a Chimera pack hahaha

Disable Pathfinder Nature's Boon in PvP. Even without it, it's still the dominate class for endurance in PvP.

Unique flasks in PvP:
Zerphi, Vinktar, Dying Sun (disable in PvP), Writhing Jar (disable in PvP)

AoE Shotgunning

All secondary damages, most notably and EA/HoT/Bear Trap

i thinking fixing unblockable, evadable stuff would be enough.

ah and also, aegis.

those are enough.

every ascendancy class is great.

and nature's boon is not the strength of pathfinder actually. the real strength of pathfinder is beeing status ailment immune and its very fast. bear trap handles the second part but still pathfinder is status ailment immune almost all the time and its pretty strong.

"You have great power. You're right to be proud. It's unfortunate you have to die now, but I will honor you with 45% of my strength."
Yeah and I think it's fine about the immunity. I won't lie, that part does make me jel, so if I said to nix that I admit it would be for selfish reasons. However, boon is too much of a pvp-leg up because they can kite around until their flasks fill back up which is fucked, ha

Just my opinion of course

No more secondary damages + trap dmg reduction and I won't have anything major to complain about for now.

I think any remotely tanky character got an indirect buff by nerfing opponents' damage, and getting through an important threshold of getting oneshotted or not, and pathfinders benefit from this even more as they survivability increased a lot by just avoiding oneshots. Other classes can be still starved out of flask charges, but not well built pathfinders, and that is just the effect of Nature's Boon.

- Flask should have a 50% efficiency in pvp, 30% for unique ones meaning you could still use them even legacy ones but not abuse them. If you have T value for skills why not some sort of efficiency nerf on flask who are nowdays acting like skills on their own.Pathfinder builds would still make flask better than for other but not broken like before. IT would also nerf life build pot users...why not maybe sometime instant recovery on flask is too strong for life users.

-HOT damage should be nerfed 80% in pvp

-blasphemy curse should get a reduced effect in pvp. This shit unfair for build who are not ranged or pathfinders. You then need those shitty rings who lack defenses.. Else GGG need to make new anti curse ring who can actually be used in normal context.

-Trap damage nerf pls

-minion cloud of death need pvp reduction.

I suggest you send that video to DanGGG via pm or others who take care of pvp.

BTW about bear trap, pre 1.3 it was already one of the best skill. I remember this epic russian duel in HC bandit. Those fucks went all bear trap, looser lost HC toon with leg kaom and shit lol. CRazy russians

Well, i would like to give my opinion on whats happening atm...

@GGG : Inquisitor has been nerfed to the ground, being 100% useless in PVP, didn't it went too far ? Making it not totaly working in PVP? lol? seems so simple and unfair but still i can deal with it...

I was playing an inquisitor mjolner, so i've been facing a TRIPLE NERF INQUI Nerf + 35% dmg nerf on Discharge on cast + Only One spell to be cast. ( So yeah i was a shitty MELEE playing inquisitor who can barely kill people before, and what now, it's even worse... ) ( Because im addicted to one build and not trying to abuse the T1 META of the day)

(Don't talk me about the 100% proc ""buff"" on mjolner, aegis is laughing at me )

Clearly, there's no point in playing inquisitor now, so i switched to Pathfinder to make good use of flask, even if my DPS is shit now due to that 300% nerf on inquisitor. ( Funny thing, we now have an anti crit Armour.) and i'm reading you already asking for a nerf on it ?

Im a sailor irl spending a lot of time on sea to make money, my playing time is very low,

SO PLEASE CAN U TELL ME WHAT ASCENDANCY CLASS U ARENT GOING TO TRY TO NERF TO THE GROUND that i could make it XP a bit without LOSING MY FUCKING TIME, so i can enjoy fighting in arena.

Ascendancy class isnt always the problem to fix, but maybe some items/flask/skill that people are abusing to the max. (

And please... how having a full sarn arena of trappers & bear trappers is more healthy... ;) ?

As a melee i can still deal with the idea of being off screen all day long, i can still try to dodge and shit, being smarter BUT well being one shot that some shit u cant even see, please..

+1 to Haunt asking for different layout of the Arena :)

Hey man. I never told them to get rid of inevitable judgment btw, they either did that completely on their own or because of other conversations with other people.

Also CoC/mjolner needed a nerf for such a long time that even the general discussion pve crowd was surprised it made it all the way through prophecy league.

Secondary damages are next on the list with bear trap, HoT, and EA as the main targets. I would seriously doubt anything will happen before this league ends, but you never know I guess.
