is mage skellies still worse yhan melee after nerf?

I will be making a video specifically for the mage skelly version and update that in the guide to reflect the usage of Baranite Sisters OR Baranite Thaumaturge spectres as they have proven to be solid for single target even at low budget investments. The video will also cover some details in how you can improve the builds approach in both offence & defensive styles as well as including high budget options.

I have a question though, what do you think which one would have higher DPS between Impale with Dread Banner and Deathmark Support?

Deathmark would only make it so you can controll the skellies i guess(higher damage for clear, not like that is needed though :D) while Impale will boost single target against bosses


on another note



gear i got now and swapped over to the "high" budget version with cluster jewels, i checked the video and i can still stay like this with skellies but what could be the better upgrtades in the future? im guessing getting a minimum frenzy/power charge shield to give the minions more buffs?

animate guardian is equiped with Kingmaker, Southbound"not corrupted yet", chest with Blind nearby enemies and some other life regen items

or could potentially going zombies and solar guards like you have in the video be better?
