ok but if we can't refund passives, what should we do?

Check the previous page. It's been explained many times.

This is awesome, I acquired both Reach and Queen's working through my first PoE playthrough and now I find a viable build that uses both together!

Loving it so far, took a bit to get it humming but just finished my first labs pretty easily and feeling like a moustache twirling necrowomancer.

Can I assume all of your gems besides the obvious level 1-3s should be max leveled and you just haven't gotten them there yet?
Correct :)

(Please post questions on the youtube clip for fast answers as I am rarely going through the comment sections due to having way too many threads to go through with PoE & WoW at the same time :S )

I wonder, wouldn't it be good to also squeeze in flame golem somewhere? gives even more dmg - but not quite sure if that also goes to your minions.

Does not apply to minions.

I would recommend watching my "Summoner Mechanic Guide" it goes through everything you need to learn about summoners, how they work what does what etc etc.

I'll be playing this build on stream in about 30min. :)

Ghazzy,

Currently a level 86 Necromancer trying this. I am finding myself really squishy even at 4.5k life and 5k ES. Also vs Uber Lab traps this build is tissue paper. I dont think izaro is the issue with some good play but my god with tons of minions running around, its impossible to see traps effectively and easily sometimes and I have died for just touching some traps. (1.5 seconds on a roomba is like instant death).

For example, Uber Izaro yesterday kept 1 shotting me at full everything even though he had no charges and only 1 golem absorbed (its really hard to kill all of them).

I havent been able to get my last ascendancy points because of this (that 9% phys reduction would be sweet.)

Also I am finding some of the new bosses to be near impossible for this build without a guardian friend. (Temple for instances)

My profile should be available for view, could you give me any suggestions? I am thinking of dropping GMP ball lightning for just Arc and maybe even change it to a curse on hit for when my friend isnt around to tri curse for me. Solo mapping feels like butts sometimes as skeleton AI can be wonky when you have both Sacrifice and Vaal Haste up. (T12 is where I am at).

Any advice on how to get tankier? Where can I improve better? (I know my headpiece could roll life but ATM saving to try to 6L the queen). Do you think I could go LL with a Shavs and get to the 10K es and drop the whole MoM EB ZO setup?

buncha things

1. I think Ghazzy made it clear this is not the place to ask questions .. soo why iz you here?
2. for lab you want as little hp as possible. allow me to explain. lab traps do a damage that is always a fixed % of your full hit point pool es and life included. The only thing that matters to durability when facing traps is how little time you spend in them and % of your hit point pool you can regenerate per second.

A character with only 2k life but 500 life regen can afk in trap mazes all day.
A character with 10000 hp and 500 life regen will probably die to the first trap gauntlet they enter.

Thus if you want to get lab done, your target hp pool really should be majority life based and no more than 5 -6k ..

now there are infact a ton of little tricks you can use to get through the lab's attrition issues

ill outline them here:

This is my lab set up and it trivializes the content i keep it in my inventory as needed.

A stone golem is a god send for medium tier life builds. its flat regen gets better the lower your total pool is since it will progressive become a larger portion of your hp regen.

B to augment that further getting a lab enchant for golem effect will make his hp regen shoot up to over 200 with the merci variant and over 260 with uber variant. my current build has 5k life and 1.6 k es in lab with 200 life regen. this enchant plus the golem more than doubles my hp regen.

C vitality vitality might be a shit aura but you dont need good auras in the trap gauntlet ... on the contrary discipline is a good way to killyourself thus you double bless yourself by switching out discipline for vitality . lab is one of the few places id use vitality because of this reason.

now vitality has a large str requirement so getting a helm with a huge str stat is actually pretty damn useful as well.

3 as for izaro... frankly if you dont have effective mitigation... then really only ci builds can just casually eat izaro hits. if you dont have the mitigation then your only option is simply to not get hit..usually by killing him off a quickly as possible

BTW this is one of the major flaws with the 4 keystone build... the reason you are dying is because only about 2k of the 5k es you have actually protects you.. so your hp pool is really only around 7k.. that's why you be dying.

but you need the keystone setup to actually be able to cast skeletons since you reserve all of your mana.. skeletons are expensive.

I did this math for my zombie build and elected instead to go without mom eb or zo.. i only have 5.3k hp and 3.2k es.. but i technically have over 1k more hp than you do despite having 2k less es.

i also have 25% physical mitigation because of all the zombies i have , chaos golem and AA. finally i have enfeeble.. which is only really useful now if you invest in curses (which i do) ..

i could probably survive a hit that would normally do 11k physical..

Again this is a fundamental flaw with eb zo mom builds ... and quite possible a fatal flaw for end game where the most important thing is raw hp to take large hits and effective mitigation. this build doesnt have much of either to be frank with you
