Maybe so. But I would definitely prefer just sticking with one setup. I do have another character that can take care of the lower tier maps, so I'll probably just make a boss-killer and stick with it.

That also means I have to change to melee skellies, and I am thinking of getting a Belly of the Beast armor instead of the +1 spectre armor.

Will 33% less damage from only having 3 spectres be a huge deal? I would certainly like some more survivability and the Belly is also easier to color.

Does anyone have any other good ideas for the body armor slot, please?

I'm at 8k like with Vis Mortis, not sure if a belly is warranted, guess more life is always nice, the +1 spectre is juicy though.

How does it work for you? Do you use mage skellies or melee skellies?
I made the experience that too many melee minions are blocking each other, thus can not attack and just wait in second row. For mapping this might not be an issue, but for boss encounters (where you want the damage gain) it actually can be a problem.
I did Hydra once with Montregul's Grasp, once with United in Dream, and the DPS was worse with United in Dream bc of the said issue.

I'm wondering what a max block variant of this build would feel like? Anyone have some insight on this? Like less life, but 75% block/spell block. Seems like it'd be much tankier, especially vs. bosses/uber elder.

Wow this is amazing guess it's hard to balance all the other res without 1 ring. i wonder if it's worth getting flesh binder ascendancy and get minion life for zombies.

I bought one of these rings today and I am wondering what I should use in it. I am following the guide, using the mage skeletons / spectres / zombies. Keeping that in mind, what would be a good link setup to use the ring for? I figure since we are using an unset ring anyways for convocation on this insanely socket starved build, why not try to free up as many sockets as possible.

Is it possible to get enlighten in the ring? maybe use it for auras and try to get another aura in there? otherwise i would try to get a zombie setup in there and maybe get the 2 point zombie asc for more phys reduction and stuff like that.

Also what is better for jewels taunt or blind on hit for minions? so "% minion damage if you used a minion skill recently + blind on hit + minion cold damage" or something like that?
