i dont understand the cwdt setups
they both use immortal call but how do u generate endurance charges in the first place ?

I test it for a while and it's fun but we lose some DPS and I don't really need more AoE.

It's a good question :)

I don't use Impresence with Flammability because:
Gain Maddening Presence for 10 seconds when you Kill a Rare or Unique Enemy
Don't working because we don't kill only Totems kill

Adds (20-24) to (33-36) Fire Damage
Flame Totem have only 25% Added Damage Effectiveness, very low dmg boost.

100% reduced Flammability Mana Reservation
Need 2 or 3 socket (Blasphemy + Flammability + Increased AoE)
Range Blasphemy is to low for Totems :/
I use gloves with Curse with Elemental Weaknes on hit. (and we can have only 1 active curse)

+(50-70) to maximum Life
+(20-25)% to Fire Resistance
1% of Life Regenerated per second
This mods is fine but on rare amulet we can have much better mods.

Still viable :) but I'm not 100% sure without full 3.1 path notes.

Volley support is interesting gem. I think probably more AoE with volley support will not be worth to have less DPS with Flame Totem but I will definitely try it.


How did you find the aoe vs dmg trade off?

I am planning to drop controlled destruction, use volley for clearing and swap in pierce for single target. Controlled desctruction gives 15% more damage than pierce for my setup.
Hey bro. 1st: Congrats for your character and guide, it's helping me a lot.

I would want to know if there is a advantage to keep the traditional spell damage build (without crit).

Currently I'm Lv90 with 60~61k dps in each totem (3x), 6.1k HP and good resists. I'm doing Lv15 (never tried 16 before) easily actually, but I would know if worth to spend tons of regrets and new jewels/rings/amulet and maybe dagger (I got one good dagger but no cast speed on it) to transform my current Chieftain Flame Totem into a critical build like your.

PS: I play Standard only.
