So I was running a Pure SRS Hybrid from your older build thread here: https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/968988 I got her up to level 75 before 2.2 came out, and took a little break. Now I'm looking to get back in and I'm wondering if I should use my full passive respec to remold her for this build. I grabbed a Vis Mortis and I've got most of the other required equipment already, so it wouldn't cost much to do. Or is the pure SRS hybrid still viable and I'd be better off sticking to that with her and maybe starting a new witch for this build? (I have a spare Tabula stashed away too once your Atziri guide comes out; I've never killed her so an Atziri viable build is definitely a selling point for me)

" SRS hasn't changed much, it simply got better with Ascendancy added to the game. However, I personally prefer this build so much higher than the rest of the summoner builds on the market. It's fresh, it's awesome, it's stable and low budget as well as beginner friendly. The super dank low budget way of using this build vs Atziri is rather hilarious as well I must say! Do you need +1 curses to have Temporal Chains and Enfeeble work with Curse on Hit and Ball of Lightning? Sorry if this was mentioned already.

So now that the Beacon bug is resolved, do you plan to make significant changes on the build or I can safely start leveling following this guide? |

Hey Ghazzy, might sound like a dumb question... Does it matter whether it's chaos golem or stone golem in case I'm missing out on some mechanics?

Minions are only affected by mods that are specifically stating that they affect minions, and/or support gems supporting the active minion gem and/or external buffs/debuffs such as auras and curses. Thanks for getting the word out that this was fixed. Threw on a vertex and 6 link I had laying around, spent about 5c on other stuff:
Sat down to play for an hour, ended up playing all day. This setup is pretty fun, and I'm really enjoying how beacon scales up with monster level so hard. Looking forward to the Uber thoughts. | |
