[2.6] Milky's Righteous Fire Totems [cheap, SC/HC, Shaper, UberAtziri]

We use Soul Mantle and we have free spell totem inside. It`s a free 6th support slot i our body armour. But you use Item Rarity. Why are you do this?

Well on any other item the 6link setup is clear.

a 5link soulmantle is enough for anything, just got this one cheap (like 3.5ex i think).

So the 7th link has nothing really exciting to offer, a blue socket is still the best choice.

Rarity gem is never bad in any setup if it can fit in. Its not a noticable difference compared to a burning dmg gem (red!) for clearing maps... and rarity is sweet in stuff like breaches.

What you dont see is two gemswaps i have aviable for it: Scorching Ray and Concentrated Effect.

Scorching ray is also supported by spelltotem (and most of the other supports) and is a nice swap for rarity on stationary bosses like shaper and uber atziri. It's a optimal damage setup with searing bond + rf totem + scorching ray dot and debuff.

scorching ray can also be used in a 5link and the 6th socket for debuffing those bosses.

Concentrated effect is swapped in for aoe on those stationary bosses. For mobile bosses like... basically any guardian, i can swap conc effect in for rarity and have a bigger aoe than a swap with the inc aoe gem.


So the rarity gem and the blue socket resulting from it gives me more utility than a red one for burning dmg gem as well as more damage when its needed.

yes, i think in all my bosskill videos i either used a 5link or rarity in the setup. maybe scorching ray in the 6link mantle, but the bonusdmg from scorching rays extra supportgems don't add really relevant dps (for that cost of a 6 link).


Tukohamas Fortess is nice to have, but also not required at all.

The life and armour is ok but lioneyes remorse is better for that.

40% totem dmg are cool to have, but a 2nd doryanis catalyst in the offhand adds more dmg if you want pure dmg in uber atziri or shaper... where a shield adds no meaningful survivability besides the life. dps is a better defence in those fights ;)

For mapping it's the best thing to have!

The extra totem lets you drop ancestral bonds for triple totems + orb of storms proccing all buffs and debuffs at once... or just quadtotem for a huge coverage (especially in breaches). Quad totems are pretty enjoyable with totemic zeals placementspeed and results in a pretty good clearspeed.

The clearspeed will never reach vaalfireball levels or similar stuff, but it's capable of running uber labs and any boss in the game on a low budget ;)

For SC a 5l mantle, doryanis catalyst (or even doon), 2x kikazaru and hrimnors resolve coupled with totemlife jewels and random rare gear is enough for anything which is on the very low budget side to kill shaper/uber (with practice ofc, its nothing a 'noob' will kill on the first try).

For HC i wouldn't have the balls to use mantle and kikazarus, which is a damage loss of 50% totemlife, but a gain of tons of survivability. 2 rings with elemental/fire damage can compensate a bit, liferolls and resists (chaos maybe even) and a 6 link belly are basically a must have for the real bosses.

For the stuff most people run nowadays like Strands and shores a 5link belly/rare chest is definetly enough, it doesnt matter if a pack melts in 0.5sec or 0.3sec, in the time we run to the next pack the totems still deal damage anyway
