EA was a thing way before you even came out into pvp, it was sort of broken before 2.0 in the old versions used by many players that dont play PVP anymore nowadays, there was even a much more broken abuse that you could do with cold to fire gem... This is long gone though and i dont think EA is going to get any hard nerfs anytime soon, it already received some, mechanics may change though who knows. EA may not be the real broken thing reguarding ea builds, very easy to scale the damage of it permits to use different tactics as in having more tankiness via tree and gear and ofcourse a lot of AOE, etc...
